I’d honestly bet $50 that if this list could be shown directly to the FMC CEO without the layers of bureaucracy, it would be implemented in the current app or the next version.

Similar case -with 2k left before the warranty runs out. I brought my truck to a third-party repair shop and paid $250 for a detailed inspection report (brakes, suspension, etc.). In my case, everything checked out well except the rear brakes, which had about 20% remaining.

In my case, one of the battery cells died. Took my dealer a while to get it replaced.

I’d recommend going with a third-party windshield service since most of them cover your deductible.

Wow, how did you know? My coolant level is below MIN, and the battery temperature is HIGH! Going back to the dealer :clap:

As a veteran of two battery failure seasons, let me share a tip: if the dealer doesn't offer you a substitute vehicle, just rent one and bill all your expenses—including fuel—directly to Ford.

@GoodSam On a side note, my neighbor, who owns a XLT ER and is far too busy to "waste time on the internet," also has his truck at the dealership waiting for his 2nd cell replacement. His first replacement was also in 2023. I can get his VIN and details for your records if needed.

As a proud owner of an F150 Lightning, I'm absolutely ecstatic to announce that in my second year of ownership, another battery cell has bit the dust. So far, I’ve maintained a flawless record of one dead battery cell per year. With a total of 10 cells, I have the delightful prospect of 8 more...

~65 days. In my case, this was one of the first Lightnings in Ontario, and the dealership had no idea what to do with it. I believe the current situation with dealership training and parts availability should be much better.

The back of the truck looks a bit familiar too.

My truck spent two months waiting for parts with the same issue. Funny enough, after getting Ford executives involved, the problem was resolved in a couple of days. They claim it was just a coincidence and had nothing to do with speeding up the process, but I find that a bit suspicious. :sunglasses:
