This is mine.
Meanwhile there's no mention on that page of the $550 in dealer added junk (Maintenance and Window Etching) that were on the printed form that I signed in January... and NO MENTION of the extra $1000 deposit on top of the $500 Ford took on the website that they asked me to bring...
Still waiting to pick mine up, but I know for sure my dealer slipped a few things in that they didn't explain and I didn't ask for.
$345 for "Maintenance"
$199 for Window Etch

This is where I stand⦠I think the reserve date may Be 5/19, but I do know I reserved within minutes of the announcement. I just donāt remember the date.
I still think the dealer has a lot more to do with the eventual delivery date than they should.
I know for sure that I was the 2nd person to convert a reservation to an order at my dealer. I also know for sure that the first batch of trucks to arrive coincidentally were sold above list as...
Still waiting. No communication from the dealer, but Ford sent me a VIN # a few days ago, and it says my build week is 8/8.
Meanwhile have you seen their crazy billboard on the side of the Outerbridge? It says āUnderā 1000 Used Vehicles In Stock.
āUnderā 1000? You might not have noticed the...
You should reach out to your energy company to see what kinds of savings programs they have for EV owners.
In my case, I use Con-Edisonās āTime of Dayā based billing which drops the price per KWh to a fraction of the price between midnight and 8am, so most of my charging is at a deep discount...
It's such a joke.
How is it that they keep selling trucks at a premium from "Inventory", when they're only supposed to be sold to actual customers who placed orders online?
Meanwhile customers who actually ordered are still waiting for trucks to be built.
It's pretty obvious that they...
I'm a Wave 2 from New York with an XLT 312A SR. My build date has moved at least 4 times, but I'm currently set for 8/8.
Let's hope it doesn't move again... and they ship quickly.
Technically, all Lightning orders are supposed to be online only. Ford took reservations online starting May of last year, then they started inviting some of those customers to convert their reservation to an order stating January of this year. With over 200,000 reservations and only about...
I think they've got quite a few figures wrong.
For example, the XLT 312A has 9.6kw without the ER battery, and the Pro doesn't have 9.6kw at any price.
To simplify, any model with ER has the 131 kwh battery, 320 mile range and a 9.6kw ProPower onboard.
Lariats and XLTs with either the ER or...
This will be my 5th blue Ford. Iāve seen it in person and itās beautiful, but I would love it to be just a bit lighter.
Also not thrilled with the way the badge is lost in the colors.
Musk has always said he wanted to open the network to non-Teslas. Having a proprietary network was never intended to be for a competitive edge. There was no standard when they started building cars, so they made one.
The biggest hurdle was't a business decision, it was working out how to...
I had a cover, so I the bed rarely got wet, so my truck bed always smelled fresh.
When you think about it... Ever since they started making F-150 beds out of aluminum, I've wondered whether any protection is needed. It'll never rust, even if there's tons of scratches, so for me, the BedRug was...
I'm still waiting for my Lightning, but I have similar problems with my Mach-E for the past week.
In my case, it triggers an alarm telling me to resume control that does not turn off unless I pull over and turn off the car and start over.
Thankfully over the air updates should eventually fix it.
I LOVE BedRug. I had one in my 2016.
I spent a lot of extra time on the cutouts that made it look a bit neater, but in hindsight didn't matter that much.
I'm debating whether I even need a full BedRug, or just the lower mat.
Lots of people who have tailgate parties before an event don't even own a truck, so to me, the term is universal.
I think people like looking for variations in names just to make the connection to what became before it... like Watergate has spawned lots of (Something)Gates over the years. When...
They had the same rule when the Mach-E came out last year, yet Dana Ford had about 50 of them on the lot. I'm fairly sure 50 people didn't cancel their orders, but I don't think it would be hard for a dealer to place 50 reservations from people who claim to be customers.
