yeah thumb in the wind from CarScanner (i don't write anything down) - this is similar to my experience. 100% is not true 100%, somewhere around 45-65% is an actual 1:1 matching of reported vs actual.
have you use an OBD + CarScanner to look at reported SoC vs actual kWh remaining? I think there's some curve to the reporting so that it helps users not reach too low on charge (reporting a lower SoC near 0% so actually go charge).
Not saying this is a gold standard way to do it, but here's an open source project I like how they do things: https://immich.app/roadmap
Hit us with "eventually" at least :)
Cool to see the Ford execs caring about the app dev cycle - a rare sight.
Since we're asking for app features, I'll just chime in to say to *PRO POWER SWITCHES IN THE APP*
Also, new Rav4 showcasing the ADAS cams used for dashcam footage: (this is prob for the Sync team not the app team but...
the cost to remove and reinstall is likely going to cause a wash on the ~$500 savings of a new charger depending on local electrician labor rates in your area (+service call fees and what not)
i know FCSP is more, but you could go with a different charger
Weird glitch if you have preferred charging times setup:
- Have a set time
- Ask to start charging
- Tries charging to 100%
- Adjust to lower %
- Stops charging ???
Have to disable preferred charging to get a charge level lower than 100% outside the window
yeah - it shouldn't since its a bluetooth connection, but speaking from experience while in low cell & switching between wifi/cell - it doesn't work & forces me to use keypad.
im aware it should work only w/ bluetooth but it simply doesn't
The update with Walk Away Lock really improved my reliability.
If you're in an area w/ low cell service or between cell/wifi - it challenges iphones typically.
Did a few tests of lane changes on a 10 mile loop with curves and hills that used to disengage.
worked all throughout and even did a lane change IN a curve - fun!
I was having issues with PAAK and did a full system reset + 12v battery unplug for 15mins.
If you don’t have any Forscan errors (I did) - might try that
I had a tech helping me (I don’t have Forscan)
