It could be. I don’t recall where I saw it but it scared me! I don’t mind waiting on software patches though. A 4-6 month delay of the truck wouldn’t be ideal though.
Others have changed dealers before hitting the submit order button. I don’t think you’d be able to change now after the fact but you can certainly call ford and see.
Does anyone recall seeing a “late availability” for the tow tech package?
Can’t remember seeing anything other than spring 2022 when I ordered but my brother has me thinking about adding the tow tech package now.
Wish I knew. Probably too late for the priority slots but some dealers got a low number of those which could help. We also don’t know if a dealer chose not to prioritize anyone did the earlier reservations fill this priority slots? Or are there no priority slots at all anymore? If there are...
It is possible not every dealer received a wave 1 invite. We don’t have enough data to know unfortunately. We are a very small percentage or people that ordered.
I have gotten to the point when I had to stop and charge one time so far in 5 months ish. And it was due to my error with the app and only charging during peak hours so when I got to work and plugged in it didn’t charge at all. Screw that off peak crap, I’ll just plug it in before bed instead...
As long as they won’t add adm and the fees aren’t ridiculous then I’d just stick it out. Ford is the one who invites to order, even if not the most timely on the wave opening day so you don’t really need them to do much.
