Should be noted it was the same truck both times and something was off with the BMS. Believe at least one of those instances showed either 2 or 4 miles remaining which is still far lower than most will run their trucks so I wouldn't worry much. If trucks start dying with 10% remaining, then we'd...
If you have your truck in for service, just tell them to make sure they don't update the BCM but there's really no guarantee they'll listen. I had them update mine while in for the battery sensor update but most dealers aren't going to spend anymore time than necessary and will only update what...
I was getting regular updates until I had 6.14 fail for some random reason (non 12v related) and never could get it to complete so I ended up buying a mongoose and updating everything (sans BCM) myself. That gave me the ability to enable updated blue cruise, new APIM icons, EV routing in google...
you can check Software Updates for any updates you've received in the last 90 days or so. If you're curious what modules you have showing updates, you can check with someone with FDRS or PTS access. I had 20+ modules with pending updates when I checked my 23 last fall.
Yup. As mentioned, your standard off the shelf battery charger (noco, etc) isn't going to cut it here. Updates for the IPMA and CMR can pull 60+ amps for 1-3 hours so a 75 amp power supply is probably the bare minimum to avoid any 12v related issues with some opting for 100 amps. The other...
yeah they also have Tesla but figure I might as well give the Mercedes ones a try. That and the Daytona Beach one always seem to be at least 50% used when I look and I'm sure every other stall is in use.
Have a trip coming up at the beginning of May from Raleigh, NC to Miami, FL with a trip to Key West, FL while down there. Roughly 800 miles each way plus another 200 or so for the Key West trip. Planning to stay overnight about half way on the way down and back and won't be in a hurry so...
Sounds like the dealer updated the BCM on yours if you have WAL as it's not officially available for 22/23 MY. WAL still seems to be working on mine though. You could try disabling/enabling but that requires FORScan to get the on-screen toggles. Have you received any updates recently.
And I've...
You should be able to enable lane change/in-lane repositioning for Blue Cruise using FORScan if you've had the front sensor csp done. The instructions aren't public as those who discovered it got apparently got yelled at by Ford when they posted it but you can ping rugedraw or someone who has...
24's already have the main features of lane change assist and in-lane repositioning which came with 1.2. Only thing new is the annoying curve control that I disabled in FORScan and probably some stability tweaks but still highly overrated imo.
Also if you find it not routing you to Tesla Superchargers, doublecheck that setting. Somehow mine got reset and was telling me the superchargers weren't compatible.
24's came with 1.2 and haven't heard of any receiving the 1.4 OTA. Since Ford didn't even add the toggles to the 1.4 OTA, they'll probably add the animations later as well for the 22/23's.
you have a 24. Ford probably updated the ipc for those from the factory. Seem to recall seeing that the animations weren't included for those that officially received 1.4 end of last year either.
Ha yeah. Pretty flat here in eastern NC and 70F today. Also helps that the route i usually take is 90% 55 mph highway. Took the interstate last week and only averaged 1.7 @ 75.
