After the last OTA I am unable to set a charging location or maximum charge either in the truck or in FordPass it now defaults to Charge Anytime and 100% . It has worked fine for 5 months and now it’s driving me crazy.
Anyone had this and found a fix?
I tried to set charging time at my Home location but the system won’t let me change from Anytime to a setting for specific times. It says t o drag the circle to the time! Hothing moves.
Any idea of what I’m doing wrong. ?
It appears the the Flash model doesn’t have the motion sensors like my Mach-e does. The online manual say where to set it but it’s not in the menu.
Driving with lane following and the screen say keep hand on steering wheel. Hands were on the wheel at the 10-2 position. Grabbed it harder and the truck did the break check thing to startle me. Don’t know where the steering wheel sensor is but something is wrong.
I bought my 2024 Lightning Flash in. July and now Ford is giving discount and free L2 charges for purchasers.
how about a little consideration for those of us who bought just for the product!
The cameras they have watching eyes to confirm drive alertness doesn’t understand bifocals. Unless I keep my head up it starts doing the “Watch the road’,warning. I can’t watch the road thru the bottom of my glasses.
glasses not the problem!
i guess Ford designers are not over 6 ft tall with...
This probably doesn’t apply to those eat of the Rockies.
none of the mapping apps (Apple, ABRP, etc) don’t have a clue of driving on mountain roads and passes. They need to add in the elevation change into their algorithms. I drove from Portland OR to Wenatchee WA over 3 mountain ranges and...
I’d like to talk with the chair -bound non-trailer using idiot at Ford who decided to remove the integrated brake controller from the 2024 Flash. We have the hitch, the backup control but just a coin slot. A $200 savings on a $70K truck.
I just traded my 2016 f150 for a Lightning Flash. The 2016 used 18” rims. Is it safe to drop down to the 18” rims with heavier weight tire for winter? Hate to buy new 20” rims for 4 months of use.
