I like to DIY things and today is the first day I've had an opportunity to put a heavy load in the bed. I couldn't be more impressed with the overall poise of the lightning with 1400lbs. So much power, handled the load better than any truck I've had previously and got 3.2mi/kw on the way home...
I finally got around to getting these shocks installed all the way around. What a difference! Now the truck rides like it should. Minimal body roll and a good planted feeling. And best of all, no more floaty ride. I had the fronts installed at the 1.1 inch lift and still have some rake. Money...
I didn't care for the look of the stock running boards so, I swapped them out for the tremor version. For those with a keen eye, I did install them backwards. I prefer the look and it does look much better overall. Easy straight swap and these came off of an F-250.
