Ok, I have to chuckle at people that say “I bought a new Truck from my dealer couple years ago, why don’t I have priority!” do people not realize how many trucks are sold each year? :unsure: To be on the “preferred” list at any dealer means high end purchases, like Raptors, Shelby’s and GTs...

I came to the same decision. We bought a platinum PowerBoost last year, but just don’t see the value in the Lightning. So, opted for the Lariat Ext, with max tow.

As far as dealer allocations, I can tell you that they don’t know yet. I spoke with the owner of our dealership in Oregon, they don’t know how many yet. Ford definitely plays a part in this. They must be taking the list the dealers sent in and based on some secret formula, they are sending the...

Spoke to my Sales manager today, they have over 200 reservations, I’m in the top 5, so as long as there are no glitches I should be able to place my order when the time comes. (y)

Not sure why it required a number of calls to Ford, the order dates were known to be January, which is why people were questioning the dealer calling you to come in. Hopefully they hold to their commitment with you.

Yes, we have a good relationship, wife’s cousin owns the dealership. We have a fleet of Ford’s. I had an early reservation for A First Edition Bronco, just waiting due to Fords delays.

It almost sounds like the Bronco again. :eek: Which I’m still waiting on, luckily I have a good relationship with Skyline Ford.

Luckily we have a Platinum PowerBoost so we can charge the Lightning if we need to. :LOL:
