Greg, thanks for the info, I searched on this but could not find a hit. That is exactly what I'm seeing. Strange that the XLT did not exhibit that on mine
Definitely should be very noticable. Do you have an option for 'Glare-free lighting' in settings under Vehicle, Lighting?
I'm not one to talk since I've made mistakes, did you double check the forscan changes?
My 'old' XLT was a '22 Lightning. I had glare free enabled on that truck; sold it and now have a '22 Lariat, also with glare free. The way glare free operates on both trucks is very different. I enabled glare free using Forscan on both.
I understand how glare free operates. The ping-pong back...
I guess I didn't explain this well enough. I have glare free on both trucks. Without an oncoming vehicle, one 'cell' will quickly bounce back and forth between hi and lo beam, as though the camera sees a light from that direction. Only on the Lariat, not the XLT.
Does anyone know if there is an option to adjust the 'sensitivity' with glare free operation? In my older XLT, the vertical 'slice' transition seemed very smooth from hi to lo beam. In my Lariat now, the glare free seems more granular and individual points jump from hi to low and back to hi...
Here we go again... I guess since it was on reddit, it must be true and Ford's documentation is incorrect. This is the link that Ford sent me: https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/electric-vehicles/public-charging/how-do-i-precondition-my-mustang-mach-e-battery-for-dc-fast-charging/ . They...
Firn, this has been discussed in a number of threads. Unless something changed in a recent update, the Lightning does not precondition the HV battery. Only the MachE has this feature.
If anyone has a full parts schematic, can you pull a part number for this harness? Dealer said it was a few feet long and went from the rear motor to main wiring harness, so I take it there is a connector on each end.
Given that both trucks had the same problem on different wires, I may order a...
Posting this as I just received Lightning back from dealer after 3 weeks and they had another Lightning in the shop with the exact same issue, so not sure how widespread this may be...
Received the 'shift fault' error and could not shift out of park, manged to get into neutral once once while...
I have not seen anyone post any obd scanner data to back this up. In all my testing over the past winter, I never saw any change in battery temp. When I reached out to Ford directly, they told me this feature is only in the MachE and pointed me to this...
This will not impact home charging rates, but has anyone looked at Bluedot EV charging app? They need a bunch of personal info because they issue a debit card...
Current rate is $.03/kwh for L2 Chargepoint and $.30/kwh for L3 at Chargepoint and Evgo; along with 20% cash back for other EV...
This is under Ford's public charging website, which applies to all Ford EV's - https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/electric-vehicles/public-charging/how-do-i-precondition-my-mustang-mach-e-battery-for-dc-fast-charging/
