My truck is fixed now. The cure was a 12V battery replacement. I think it originally threw a bad code because of the update (which others had confirmed happened to them and it went away with time). I likely drained the 12V trying to get the truck to clear the code by going through multiple...
Dealership said the 12V battery was bad and causing all of the error messages. They replaced it and the truck is acting normal. I think the front motor failure message was a product of the update that others had experienced and would have gone away with time. My cycling of the start/stop that...
It happened to me last night but my update said it was successful and started throwing a lot of error codes. I started a thread here before I saw yours.

Yes, it gave me all kinds of errors and had to be towed.
I'm pretty sure the update (6.14.0) bricked my Truck and there is no real issue with it. My truck was throwing all kinds of error messages this morning while waiting for the tow truck, e.g., "Steering assist fault - Service required", "Frunk ajar", "Stop safely now", "Pedestrian Sounder fault -...
Interesting. It was off for two hours after the update. I tried starting it a few times in a 45 minute period before giving up. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow morning. If that's true, I'll never let it update again if not sitting at my house!
My truck just left me stranded away from home and is displaying a "Front Motor Failure - Service Vehicle Soon" message. It's probably coincidence but, as soon as I parked it, it popped up on the screen that an update was successful. I sure hope the update isn't what caused this and the issue is...
Ended up being a shorted out relay. They replaced the relay (which was part of the entire fan assembly, so all new fans) and the A/C is working again. I don't think they even looked into the compressor noise. There's no mention of it as part of my issue or anywhere in the technician notes. It's...
It does work continuously as long as the truck is moving which makes me think it's probably not a low refrigerant issue, but maybe it is.
Nothing's been done yet. I goes in on Monday. I'll update once I find out what the problem is.
No, the truck is not throwing error codes. I disagree that the noise is normal. This is the third summer I've owned the truck and the noise didn't start until the end of last summer. I took it in to have it looked at when the noise first started but the dealership claimed they couldn't replicate...
Yes. The first dealership I reached out to is the closest to me but not where I bought the truck. I reached out to the dealership I bought the truck from and, although they were also hacked, they went ahead and scheduled me to bring my truck in. I hope the hack gets resolved soon and I won't...
I know the fans noise you are talking about and they work just fine and when they are supposed to. It's absolutely the A/C compressor whining. I can make it turn on and off with the A/C controls. I took it to have it checked out last summer because it should be quiet like you said.
