No appreciable difference that I can see or feel. Others on other forums say the update changes the side view mirror heat.
Interesting additional side note: it definitely sounded like a beehive in garage while the truck was doing the second update (DOR-UP2).
I had a failed install of this update today, and then it jumped to a different update from back in 2023, but with totally different verbiage and update details than what everyone else got.

Ummmmmm 🤔
So, I was notified today that I had the 24-PU0105-CMR-FX- Driver Assistance Monitoring OTA update to install today. So I said “update now”.
After it did its thing…it said the update failed, and almost immediately after offered this update: 23-PU0813-DOR-UP2. I told it to update now…and...
I don't do a lot of DCFC, but we have a couple long distance trips planned this summer. So, I actually don't know yet how it is affected. I may end up going to an EA station in town just to see. Before it was removed from the app it worked well. On the Tesla side...I am on the schedule for a...
I’m on SW version 4.33.
I do agree the factory reset is the likely culprit, especially since no one else seems to be having this issue.
I have turned plug & charge off, and then back on…but I am going to leave it off for 24hrs today…give it a little extra time to reset itself.
I have...
Not sure when it happened…maybe with the Supercharger update or maybe when my dealer factory reset the truck…but EA is no longer listed in Plug & Charge. It was there previously and worked…but now only Tesla is there.
I’ve checked everything I can think of, but clearly I’m missing something...
I did the network settings reset last night…and this morning I had no issues…not a big sample size at all…but here’s hoping 🤞🏼.
Sorry @Ford Motor Company I’ve not had good experiences with that process, so I won’t be sending you a message.
I’m having this issue as well…
The “try Siri” fix doesn’t work for me…that’s normally when I identify the issue…Siri hears me, but no audio back.
Seems the jury is still out if this is an iOS issue or a FMC issue. I’m leaning towards iOS, because I am not hearing of Android issues, and I...
About 20’. The truck and my phone (which are the the same distance) show full signal. Never had an issue the entire last year that it was installed. This is a new issue.
The plot thickens. The FordPass app says it’s connected, but it’s not communicating with the server…won’t change status from “ready to charge” to “charging” when I plug it in. I have tried to change amperage…no dice, it says it was changed, but it’s not actually changing.
@Ford Motor Company...
I am back up as well.
I’ll follow up and maybe they fixed the ability to change amperage in the app that was broken.
Still haven’t heard back from Ford customer service…but it just went back online today, so I think it’s fair to give them a couple of days. Glad they got it back online, that...
I concur with @LightningB514… I like the 15” screen. I find it to be rather functional and enjoy the extra real estate and the implementation with Apple CarPlay.
There will always be disagreements about UI and implementation no matter how it’s done, or by who…and frankly I appreciate that Ford...
FMC customer relations did call me back today and inquired if it was connected…it’s not. She escalated this to engineering. She did admit that they are receiving higher than normal calls regarding this over the last 48 hours. She said she’ll check in on Monday.
Indeed, that’s weird.
And it sounds like many folks are having issues with their FCSP…I wonder if there are just a bunch of chargers that aren’t communicating with FMC for some reason. Maybe they’re “fixing” something. I’m sure it will resolve all issues once they “fix” it.
I went ahead and did a factory reset and relinked the FCSP and still didn’t fix it.
I called FMC Customer Support again today, and although their automated call routing sucks, I did get to someone who was rather kind and helpful. They confirmed that Ford’s charging server is down…and she would...
