Good advice on shutting off Auto Updates. Another option is leave it on and just delay the install if it is the WAL removal (based on notes).
I know ultimately, you'd need to let it install if you want to stay in the update release flow. I already have the important ones like BC 1.4 but I know...
You would have thought that would have been mentioned. After having Honda Ridgelines before my Lightning, it was a feature I needed/wanted.
Not surprised no notes after having to delete my BlueOval completely due to a software bug with the new FP 5.18 that will not allow you to disable Plug N...
Thanks again to everyone on the forum, especially the old timers like myself (took delivery 6/10/2022).
My 3 year was set to expire 6/6/2025 - guess the dealer started the services June 6 when the truck came in vs when I took delivery.
I was able to do the 1 year extension for $0.00 starts...
I have reservation slots for both the Ramcharger and Scout Terra Harvester (EREV). I like the Scout/VW approach with a 2.0L I4 for the generator mounted over the rear axle. Keeps the frunk in play vs the Ramcharger with a 3.6L V6 Pentastar under the hood. I assume the bed of the Scout will have...
Did the remove and re-add have any effect on your Sync and vehicle settings? Some have mentioned it but I don't think that many settings would be effected.
I can deal with a re-add of PaaK as well. Most of us have done it at least a few times.
UPDATE: I did remove and add back my Lightning as...
Also just received via email. Away from the Lightning until Tuesday. I'd prefer to just wait for the debuged 10.3.0 at the point.
Not as bad as the BlueLink crash Hyundai Corp had/has since Feb 8th.
Agreed and that's why I posted. My truck is parked outside and granted I had 30+ miles of use with 10 miles of preconditioning for this session. It was 27 F so still cold. Lowest I saw until 80% was 129 kw which is very solid. If you removed the 80-83% at 54 kw, I'd estimate the true average...
Agreed on preconditioning. My EA charge noted above was simply switching from AA to Ford Nav, putting in the EA station and HOPING it preconditioned. We have a 2022 Ioniq 5 that basically has check box (that often unchecks itself after you do anything in the menu) and a small 'heating coil'...
Tesla SCs do rip on the Ford EVs. Although, my wife is doing an Elon boycott, so not using on our upcoming FL trip (even rerouting as you can't cut through WV efficiently unless you use Tesla SCs)
Although inconvenient, her logic is sound as an unelected official should not be running our country.
Here is the session summary. Averages out to 134 but I didn't get to the truck right at 80% (after 80% SOC the usual 54 kw speed).
The net session was 16-83% as we are trying to use KIA credit that expires 2/13.
BTW, do you think 10.3.0 contained any DC charge curve refinements? Asking because my first DC session after the OTA on an EA 350 (a 27 F day with only 10 miles of battery preconditioning) peaked at 186 kws and than sat in the 140-154 range all the way to 80% SOC. This is about 15 kws higher in...
Attached it shows the Target Charge locations came to a screeching halt after 10.3.0. Home and the 17 N Castlerock are the same position (ironically 17 is my neighbor but it has always shown that address when I'm on that side of the driveway).
Full transparency: I always charge to 85% if home...
I actually no longer see new charge sessions in Charging History since the update. FordPass knows where the truck is but the history ends after the update completed.
I gave it a try while actively charging both on the app and in the truck. No luck. Also tried with and without a one-time target charge set in the truck. I did confirm the truck sees a location.
I guess for now I'll set my one-time level in the truck (my Chargepoint Home handles the Time of...
Honestly not sure. I've been in EAP since 2022 and don't necessarily get the OTAs first. If this is EAP only, they'll really have fun at Ford EV customer service if they don't debug it first.
