  1. New York Sold: SOLD - Used CSP for Sale (Indoor use only)

I put on eBay for exposure but selling my perfect condition CSP (indoor use only since July 2022) for $495 delivered (to the lower 48 - would make arrangements for Canada as I live on the border). Offering a $50 discount to forum members, so $445 USD. Pics and additional info available, just ask...
  2. How far have we gone? Your Lightning mileage?

Just crossed 30,000 miles since delivery on June 10, 2022. No mechanical/electrical issues other than the usual (Active Air Dam warnings, etc.). One seat issue with the drivers side bolster splitting per many F-150s. Got a non-warranty custom fix with a real double layer leather replacement...
  3. Priority Update: 23-PU0306-BCF-DET

That's standard on the radio glitch... My AM and FMs were gone (for at least the 4th time after an OTA) but Sirius station presets remained. I stopped getting air dam warnings a while back and thought maybe that fix was jammed in a March update, but then they started resurfacing. Hopefully...
  4. Priority Update: 23-PU0306-BCF-DET

Quick note and no guarantees but I could not get this one to install (first OTA I have had trouble with in the year plus of ownership). All I did different was turn the headlight dial to OFF and plug it into my Level 2 with charging active. Installed first try after 5-6 unsuccessful attempts. I...
  5. Priority Update: 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2: Improved DC Fast Charging

Yeah. Appears to be as this is the first OTA since June 2022 that has not worked. I've done all the required steps and let it update at 1:00 am but still won't take. Again, don't really care as no DC handshake issues but the pop up is annoying...
  6. Priority Update: 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2: Improved DC Fast Charging

Same issue with the multiple attempts. This is the first OTA that hasn't worked perfectly in over 1 year and 28,000 miles. Not a big deal as I've had no handshake issues with DC chargers but would like to get it to install to end the pop ups.
  7. Poor treadwear - General Grabber All Season

That is the issue although a 114 vs 116 with a XL rating isn't necessarily a deal breaker. The only 116 XL tire that I know of - That isn't an A/T - is the Falken Ziex CT60. It's a 116H XL in 275/60R20 so load is the same with a better speed rating. About $19 more than the Gen Grabber... May be...
  8. Poor treadwear - General Grabber All Season

They are pretty normal for OEM in my opinion. I have 28,000 miles on the Grabbers and they are down to 5/32nds. I rotate (rearward cross) every 5k miles. So they are just usable the rest of the summer then new rubber for the Western NY winter. Probably going to Kumho HT51s that are a true all...
  9. Ford pro charger solenoid is clicking on and off every 10 seconds. Anyone have this happen?

Well, now I'm more confused: I removed both fobs and put in a RF blocking bag. I tested and they definitely were not communicating with the truck. I shut off my phone and put it in a RF bag and confirmed PaaK was not doing anything either. Then I plugged in with the truck set to start...
  10. Ford pro charger solenoid is clicking on and off every 10 seconds. Anyone have this happen?

Good point on the key. I usually use PaaK but my physical keys are close to the truck also. May be time for an experiment...aka take both keys down the street to the neighbors and turn off the phone / also remove from the area and see what the relay does.
  11. Ford pro charger solenoid is clicking on and off every 10 seconds. Anyone have this happen?

Some further insight on the clicking relay...99% sure this is a Lightning software issue. We've used the CSP since June 2022 on both the Lightning and my wife's Ioniq 5. We charge between 11pm-7am per our National Grid VTOU. There is never an issue with the Ioniq 5 when plugged in and in...
  12. Efficiency numbers (m/kWh) with Splash Guards/Mudflaps?

I might actually be in Swormville. My favorite town name...either way the same 14051 zip code vibe! Lots of Lightnings in BUF considering the population. Also a lot of Ioniq 5s (my wife's vehicle)...
  13. Efficiency numbers (m/kWh) with Splash Guards/Mudflaps?

I installed the stock Ford F-150 splash guards about 1 month after delivery (June 9) and didn't notice any difference (although not much time to gauge without the flaps). The reality here in Western NY is that splash guards are NOT optional, so irrelevant what small effect they have. I also...
  14. Help...need advice on route

I drive to our cottage 260 miles in Central Ontario and make it with 10% ish left if I leave at 100%. This includes a 45 F rainy night in Oct 2022. Elevation change is 600+ ft and 72 mph on the highway. Most other road is at 55-60 mph. The 224 miles described should be easy and especially if...
  15. Ford Power-Up 4.1.2 UI Update

I've done a lot in the past with VAG com (VW/Audi) and it is similar to FORscan. It has always seemed easier to me with Windows and a USB cable. The initial instructions in the thread did work for me so far as the coding. The preset menu items also worked for me. Overall, I'm happy with the...
  16. Ford Power-Up 4.1.2 UI Update

Using a wired OBDLink EX with a Windows 10 laptop (regular Windows FORscan install). I use Android on everything else, so honestly not too familiar with iOS. The key is double and triple checking that all the coding is exact. If you get any SUM errors, something is off.
  17. Ford Power-Up 4.1.2 UI Update

Just got done playing with it in the driveway. I also really like the changes. Well thought out and looks much more organized. I like all the Controls and Settings on one page. Using the Volume knob for multiple functions makes sense and is safer to use while driving than all the touch & slide...
  18. F150 Lightning FORscan thread

Thanks for the info on that. I have the Lariat, so the ZL and Bed Lights were present. I'm used to my past Ridgelines were if you opened the tailgate barn door style, the bed lights came on. If you lowered it traditionally, they did not come on so that you could haul cargo with the tailgate...
  19. F150 Lightning FORscan thread

Hey Beav - I'm a veteran FORscan user but I can't find the coding in any of the forums for bed lights on with zone lighting? I've done every other mod I wanted and have put the laptop and OBD cable down for a while. Can you point me in the direction of the coding for this? I assume the bed...
  20. F150 Lightning FORscan thread

Agreed. I did the FORScan coding early December for Anti-Glare and perfect timing with the darkness of the winter season. So much better than auto high beams (which worked good on the Lightning IMO vs previous vehicles I owned).
