Hey guys,
Turns out there's a puncture in one of my general grabbers and the shop is asking that I change all 4 at this point...
When came the time to look at new tires, they advised me that these tires are simply Gerneral Grabber HTS60 tires...indicating that they aren't necessarily made...
It's sadly very common for dealerships to not be able to fully know what to do with your vehicle.
Most dealerships only have one guy who decided to get qualified for EVs and even then it's probably not an intensive course...more of a "what not to do" and "plug it into the computer to diagnose"...
If you're referring to the backup camera, yes you can put it on while driving. The only thing is, there will be an annoying text in the middle of your screen that doesn't go away. It sort of does the job.
As someone had mentioned before...get a transfer switch and set up an "RV plug" that goes from the breaker to the truck and it will 100% do the same thing while costing you thousands less.
That being said, you probably will run into problems charging your truck from home if your panel is only...
While a heat pump can help in the fall and in the spring, they aren't all that great in cold winters. Considering I lost 25% of range, it's not terrible. By comparison, my gas powered Civic lost 16% of its range in the winter, so 9% worst with what is basically a large hair dryer is very good IMO.
Mine was doing the exact same noise when my AC blower stopped working. They changed the blower and that noise is still present. I even started a new Lightning on the lot to check and I can confirm it did the exact same noise....it's very strange.
Mine finally updated last night. My advice? Stop caring and it eventually works out.
Heck, I had the battery around 60%, doors unlocked, no parking brake and lights on auto. I understand that there are certain conditions the truck is looking for, but I think it's mostly random.
Yeah, I've tried everything and have frankly given up. The failed message is now part of my daily routine along with shower, morning coffee and trip to the bathroom.
Yeah I'm done trying...been doing everything from charging the 12v and resetting BMS and nothing seems to work.
Just gonna let it keep trying overnight on it's own hoping it eventually goes through. Might also bring it into the dealership if it really keeps going.
Every update before this wen...
Hey guys,
Started having issues with my AC the last month and started noticing that my "Exterior temperature" on my trip energy hasn't even been showing 0%...it just flat lines.
Today they fixed the AC blower at the dealership, but the flat line is still there. On colder mornings when the...
The AC blower might be done... that's what happened with mine. The AC still works as long as the truck is moving, but when it's stationary the air is warmer and it no longer has that very loud noise that the AC normally makes (it's a low whining noise near the driver side tire).
This is what I also believe. Whenever the AC comes on, it's a small whining noise coming from the driver side tire instead of a the loud noise the AC usually makes. I'm definitely not confident in going on a long road trip at this moment.
