This has also been my experience. I just wish that it was adjustable.

On longer trips, I use ABRP and PlugShare. I use Apple Maps to monitor the traffic but when I figure out what charging station I want to go to next, I put that into the Ford native navigation so it can precondition the battery before I get there.

I thought that would be a good idea too, but it doesn't appear every time I put the truck into reverse. I just now tried it, and it doesn't show up. It's a circle with the hand and a "P" that you can toggle on and off. It will change from blue to white.

I wish that I hadn’t gotten the update. I want to go back. I like the GOM estimates much better in the old version.

I agree with the optimistic range. It's 15º and the GOM is estimating 280 miles with a 90% charge. Before the update the estimate was more like 210 miles. Much more realistic range from my experience in the cold weather. I would also like the previous estimates back.
