Digging up an old thread here, but does your truck still give you these notifications about the frunk outlet being open? I was in the same boat, Milwaukee charger and everything, and a few months back mine stopped giving me the notification, which also stopped the outlet from turning on...
Just wanted to chime in on this. Mine made the sound since I took delivery in Sept. Kind of just ignored it since it wasn't that bad, and couldn't be heard with the windows up (all winter around here). Finally took it in last week to the dealer, they verified the sound and ordered the parts for...
Received my check yesterday. So my timeline was:
9/9 took delivery of truck
9/20 submitted required docs to Mor-EV program
9/27 confirmation email saying all docs were accepted, awaiting final approval
11/1 received final approval
11/21 check in mailbox
Thank you again to @TaxmanHog for...
Good point, I’ve been one pedal for quite a while and literally never touch the brake pedal, probably lead to my lack of pressing it when I shut down!
I drove my wife’s explorer last night, going back to using the brake pedal is awful lol
Just found this thread after posting my own about it. I think I found a fix for this. When shutting the truck off hold down the brake pedal. It seems to reset the stats every time for the next startup.
Apologies if everyone already knew the fix for this lol but I hadn’t seen it posted yet. I’ve owned the truck for a couple months and about 3k miles. The “This Trip” screen on the gauge cluster seemed to reset kind of randomly. Some of the time the miles and time would be at 0 when I started up...
Good call, I know the lot well, and that area is usually pretty open (map attached parking area circled in red, green star is where the EA chargers are).
Congrats on your Lightning. I also got mine from Marcotte Ford, they were great.
If this does end up happening in Chicopee, pretty much the whole city is 0 alt Authorization due to Westover ARB. Also, they're not on the LAANC system for auto authorizations and are quite picky about handing out manual authorizations :( I live here and am a part 107 operator. However, if your...
Mine does the same thing. Initially when I disabled it it said it would remind me like twice a year. I think the truck is front loading the reminders for the next 25 years, bc it reminds me basically every time.
Can add me to the list. Has had the tick since day 1 (1300 miles now). Can only hear it with the windows down/radio off, and hasn't changed or gotten worse at all. I'm thinking I'll wait to see if Ford puts out a TSB/Recall rather than just take it in and be without a truck for some period of...
Oh and another thing to note: that Chic—Fil-A parking lot is always packed (except Sundays lol) if it’s a Saturday either closer to the charger at Home Depot, or Directly across from Chic-Fil-A at the Buffalo Wild Wings might be better. Just a thought
Maybe this will end up being the official meetup thread? If so, I just wanted to point out the Chicopee EA is up and running with 4 fancy new 350kw chargers. I checked it out this afternoon.
I’ll be there whichever of the 4 dates gets picked.
If you have your plates, your should definitely have your registration. Maybe the dealer put it in the glove box? Doesn’t come in the mail, you get it at the time you get your plates, whether at the dealer or the RMV.
I just installed mine today. Thank you to @Intellibeam foe the install video, it was very helpful.
I want to talk about one thing though, the light up sequence. I bought mine directly from Ford (obviously made by Putco though), and I noticed the wire loom was kind of crushed/suspect. I have...
