I have a Uniden R8 installed to the left of the mirror and hardwired into the mirror power along with my dashcam, and it's amazing. It has an incredible detecting range and I can't complain. While I would take the Uniden R8 any day, there are a ton of good options.

I tried FSD 12.3 a few days ago and it's insane. It isn't perfect, but I never had to disengage and I could tell it's a major improvement over v11. It is so nice to set the navigation system and the car just drives to the destination. I wish BlueCruise would at least take in Navigation inputs on...

The rain sensor is separate from the camera, it doesn't use the camera to detect rain.

That is where the camera is housed. All Lightning's are currently shipping with this unit and it is for the active safety features. Even if your truck isn't equipped with BlueCruise, it still uses this camera for features such as AEB, LKA, etc.

Same here, I didn’t experience any issues with 6.13 and received 24-PU0105-CMR-FX and 23-PU0813-DOR-UP2 today.

It's unfortunate that BC isn't working for you, BC really does make driving better. For me, BC already drives very well, especially for a first attempt. It's pretty stable and handles many situations well. I like to push it in situations it wasn't designed for to see how it does, and it drives...

Since 6.13 only made changes to the Driver Monitoring system, it hasn't changed the way BC drives. In terms of eye tracking, it has always been super accurate, and I haven't noticed much of a difference other than it might be slightly more accurate.

I also received 6.13 in December without any issues. I hope Ford figures this out soon, I'm looking forward to testing BC 1.4.

Can't wait to receive the software update that adds the charging rate, new icons and graphics, Pro Power Onboard while off, etc!

Wow, I’m so sorry that happened to you, thank goodness you’re okay. Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do when you hit a patch of ice and lose all traction. Trucks can be replaced, lives can’t. Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery!
