Yes, they have been in constant contact with Ford engineering. I even provided them an SSM # for this issue that Ford Engineering gave me but the dealer said that SSM didn’t apply to my VIN, which is weird because I provided my VIN to Ford who gave me that SSM #.

Keep us updated. My truck was delivered with this issue and the dealer was aware of this during inspection. They ordered a new tailgate module that should be here Wednesday. Holding out hope this will resolve the issue. I don’t think the module took the original programing on the assembly line.

Inspection revealed an issue with the tailgate not working. No further details but was just wondering if anyone else had issues with the automatic tailgate? I would imagine it manually works.

zero movement on mine. I have seen 12 delivery date changes so far and counting going all the way back to mid-July. Current ETA is 9/20/2022 - 9/26/2022.
