Quite frustrated myself to be honest. BC1.4 has been out for a long time but I still haven't received the OTA for it. I shouldn't have to shell out money for FDRS to get it in a timely manner.
AAA (others too probably) sells add on glass coverage on top for like $100-200 a year. I don’t remember the price exactly. And with the OEM endorsement policy, it extends to the glass coverage. I feel OEM endorsement is a must for newer cars.
7500 lb curb weight while extremely chonky, its lighter than what I was expecting from Dodge. (still over 700 lbs heavier than the lightning ER though)
I was wondering if the bolts are easily accessible for the headlights.. someone side swiped me and I needed a new headlight and the bodyshop did a terrible job in height alignment with the light bar. I have tried adjusting the knob that controls how far down the hood closes but it still isn't...
I think the charge rate is inconsequential unless you actually own a 80 amp home charger. The heat pump is great if you need the extra range per charge. However, I think the price difference is over $20k to upgrade no? $71K + tax. That makes it a big pill to swallow and I'm not sure that's worth...
Unknown but the front end already makes a huge difference.
https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/rear-suspension-compilation-questions-lowering.25389/ Someone talked about it before but never committed, an older f150 front end shock may work for the rears. Alternatively, you can just...
The Eibach kit (front/rear) and the Bilstein 6112 (fronts) are what most people post about on this forums. The Bilstein are actually the gas f150 part seems to work fine for those of us who have it on including me. I paid a shop to put it on for me but AFAIK the front is basically the same as...
The speakers and the leather seats are a huge plus, you probably won't notice the dual onboard charger though if you don't plan on getting the 80 amp Ford wall charger. What may sway you is the heat pump in the 2025 during colder seasons, it'll be a lot more efficient. I don't know how much...
I think what also swayed corporate was the positive press about Ram's frankenstein REV truck with buzz words like "alleviating range anxiety" so corporate thought the REV Lightning would be an easy win. They get to cut cost with cheaper, less dense LFP batteries AND attract the on the fence...
7000 lb + small generator + fuel. Nice... After hearing(rumor?) that Ford fired a lot of software developers and the drought of software updates and that I still don’t have BC1.4, I don’t think I’d be buying another Ford EV..
I don’t expect Tesla tier software updates cadence but cmon. My PAAK...
I didn't go to Costco for the Lightning yet, I didn't realize the H3 battery type seems to be rather low volume/unique. I was speaking based on prior experiences with my other cars.
