Iāve had that exact thing since December ā22, and canāt stand the armrest without it. That said, it could really benefit from padding on the side too.
I have two 16 sensor Vue devices, using 24 sensors total. It cost me the cost of the devices. Wiring it up is simple and with a relatively new house with space and sensible wiring inside the panel, itād be pretty quick.
If youāre not comfortable working inside the panel, I canāt imagine a...
āYes, butā¦ā
Depending on the speed youāre going this might not happen at first; theyāre not so simple logically as āfoot removed from pedalā ā> turn on brake lights. Theyāre also dependent on accelerometer input to determine whether to light them up or not. If you take your foot off the pedal...
I havenāt set up two together but Emporia all day. Their available data - especially (but not exclusively) hooked up to their Vue system and Home Assistant - is great. I have data on more power usage around my house than I could ever want.
They have time of use that can be configured to vary...
Revising my previous statement: I do have things to add.
Give me some way to authorize against the API that doesnāt potentially lock me out of the ability to ever use the app again. The possibilities with open API access are exciting but the weaponized dumbassery of punishing end users for...
I think weāre fine without the sexist condescension adding to the already palpable atmosphere of the thread.
Hereās the crux of the issue. Either we want wider EV adoption, or we want it to remain a small exclusive club for those with the privilege to afford it. Inflicting āfinancial painā...
Have you tried this? Becauseā¦ oooooooooh
Your post here made me realize this annoys me more than almost anything else because itās not consistent. Always or never, preferably something that can be set per preference but Iād certainly settle for always. I still go for the button each time. Itās...
After a year and a half and 12k miles, I had my first ever wait to fast charge.
Six EA stalls, all taken up. App had showed only one in use, and that was correct. One other had completed charging, two EVs parked there (with no occupants) werenāt plugged in, and two werenāt electric vehicles.
A...
I didnāt get a pic but stopped at a park that had one of those 50kW Tritium chargers and right after I plugged it in, it made an awful buzzing noise. For the sake of caution I unplugged, went to move to a 7.2kW AC charger next to it, and noticed power was reduced to 94%.
After two hours of...
Chevyās been nailing it on design recently compared with other US-market cars. But removing CarPlay and Android Auto means I wonāt buy one. I was all in on the new Blazer EV as a second car until they announced that. Now, Iāll just be waiting in vain for the new small Ford Explorer EV to never...
The solution to the heating problem is in my avatar.
But seriously, while I don't live in the coldest climate (far from it), heated seats + bundling up aren't the solution for some disabilities in the household.
@Dylanch has teased the solution that I want to see documented. š
I didnāt post about mine but on August 18th, with a 78% SOC and a fine day in terms of temperature and weather, my power output dropped to 56% on a treacherous two mile drive consisting of well maintained roads with no real change in elevation. Turning it off and back on a few times didnāt help...
At the very least that chain is named appropriately considering what happens a short while after visiting.
ā¦right. Unsure I saw the point in the Tesla website one considering PlugShare has a wealth more information about how chargers are - or are not - functioning.
I can't answer about the chains but I'd thoroughly recommend - if you have a driveway or garage - a good 32A+ L2 charger, allowing you to charge and precondition your battery and cabin in the mornings. It made a huge difference to range for me last winter.
The timeline is justifiable and wasnāt ever incorrect - for mere human math and time is but an inconvenience to be solved. Heās probably operating on some new timeline he stole or bullied his way into invented.
This is the first time I've had repeated failures from an update. Not pressed enough to go spend money on a laptop and dongle to do it myself.
I'll keep not paying attention to it until either (a) it succeeds, or (b) I take it in for its first service in a few weeks.
