    It really won't make that much of a difference. The luxury tax is the lower of the 2 options...so if you're at $110 the hit is $2k not $11K.

    It ls certainly a bit crazy. Signed a dealer order and put down $1000, ford says it doesn't count because it didn't get assigned a vin...hence no price protection in Canada. That'll do it for me 😪

    Same conversation today...I talked to ford and they said my order at the dealer and deposit didn't constitute an order with ford...so $13k price bump to the 2023 by the time taxes get counted.

    Got an update from the dealer, order bumped to 2023 with no price protection for Canada (with tax about a $13k increase). Any ideas out there on how approach Ford?
