I have the parking pawl recall on ford.com.
Is this the same as the the parking brake recall y'all are talking about because I've never had that recall If it's separate.
But if it is the same, mine says a fix is not available yet
And of course, I now have the trailer recall. But I'll be waiting...

Oh yeah. I remember you are in the area. (y)
Hopefully it will be awhile before we all get hit again. One of the few negatives of living here. IT seems my house is a magnet for hail but @GDN seems to have a magical hail resistant dome over his place!
This house was new when we put the Solar on. Only six months old. So I would suggest anyone putting that on there, consider the age and do it before they added it if they think it would be needed in the next few years.
Nice PW3s! Wish I could get the expansion packs. They need to make it compatible with PW2.
Here are some PW pics and I figure I almost have enough solar, but you can see what a Texas Hailstorm can to to the panels. Supposedly they can stand up to Golf Ball size hail, but bigger is a...
Well like @GDN said, I have quite the experience with that. I have a large solar system on my home. First installed in 2018. We had hail storms in 2023 and 2024.
Both a which required the whole system to be removed, the roof replaced and then a month later the whole system put back on the roof...
Not much on this tread in a while. So here is my latest project.
When @TexasGardeningGirl and I go on a road trip to the mountains, we find we lose cell service. Duh.
So to keep my copilot happy (and I couldn't help myself anyway), I added a Starlink Mini to the truck. I searched all the...
HA! I know you are good for the $50 so I will hold onto that offer.
I am not worried about parts availability for the next few years. I've got 4.5 years left on the warranties and my mileage usage wont beat those time limits, so I and most others have time to evaluate the market and decide...
I understand Ford's decision. I'm just saying I don't like it. But they are a public traded company that needs to make money. I understand that. But at the same time they're putting out an announcement on the lightning forum. Lol like they thought they'd get a lot of backers on that front. @Ford...
Additionally. @Ford Motor Company doesn't want to be in the battery business. So why not just quit this nonsense and sell straight gas trucks since the fuel standards no longer have teeth.
The thought that these will be collectible, IMO is a fantasy. As the batteries age there won't be replacements. Get out when you can before 2035. They will be worthless. Again, IMO.
I would rather have a cybertruck then an EREV anything. @Ford Motor Company
