Any “headline“ that contains “This is...” or “Here’s what…”, and “What to Know about…” is an instant skip for me. Clickbait, filler, garbage, no journalistic integrity expected or implied, and usually packing some sort of agenda. Hard pass.
It used to be only occasionally for me but since the Tesla update and the last few iOS updates it’s been pretty much every other time I drive the truck. Sometimes the fix is to switch audio apps in CarPlay. For instance, if it’s Spotify that’s giving no audio, I’ll switch to Apple Music or...
Aside from the perpetual postponed update warning every time I get in the truck, since the Tesla network update, I have to left thumb/right thumb reboot the sync every time I dri the truck because there’s no audio using CarPlay. I can see the current track counting up in time as its playing but...
This has been going on for 10 days now. Below are images of the two things I’m getting. I went and got a battery tender and made sure the 12v LVB was at least 82% and I still cannot get this update to go, either with Update Now or during the usual overnight cycle. What other process could...
They like rat poison pellets more than they like cabLes. Get a bag and sprinkle that around the house, garage, crawlspace, etc. They eat it and die (don’t ask about the pharmacokinetics).
This update is available but won’t go when I try to update now. Says “Interrupted by Another Process”. What could that be? It’s BECM so I tried doing the update without the shore power cable but that didn’t hel.
I’m actually not interested in the next Gen F-150 Lightning. What I want next is an F-250 class BEV truck with all the capabilities that entails.
It needs some no-BS 500 mile, 20k lbs tow capacity. Everything else is just incremental tweaks until that truck comes out.
I guess the update I got 2-3 days ago was the newest because there are definitely some new sound files being played. I guess they’re getting the hint that the same chime shouldn’t be for 90% of events that trigger them.
OK here's the thing the OP didn't mention and no one appears to have asked and it's the simplest fault isolation point - Is the truck plugged in? Preconditioning does not function unless the truck is plugged up to a charger.
AND that charger has to be willing to deliver power during that time...
Read the first post and that's all.
I charge my truck at work every day to 90% (Ford portable charger on 30A 240V) after I drive the 22 miles there, and at home to 90% (JuiceBox 40A 240V) after the return trip at night. Zero issues, zero concerns.
He accidentally charged to 100% because he forgot to stop it?
He keps referring to electricity as "gas". I'm finding it hard to take anything this guy says seriously until someone tells me that this particular EV cannot have a max set SoC.
