Just finished printing @mr.Magoo front shifter box for someone on the forum, and it came out really nice. Like I would have no issues using it as is without painting. thank you @mr.Magoo for sharing!!
I printed myself the first version from @ENDianDigital and I still love it, not going to...

its not currently available, i sold the adapter with a different mirror to someone on ebay, but they couldnt get the homelink to work either, so they will be returning it back to me, when they do, it will be available.
I think I figured out a good solution to the magsafe issue. I am using the magsafe version of the print, but my phone is too big to work with a case on it, and its not a large phone by todays standard. So first I bought one of these to hold the magsafe puck, i wanted to make sure the back was...
I've printed and shipped some of the housings for members on here, Id be willing to do a few more. I think I have the process down now, with minimal messed up prints. But I dont have too much time, so I'd need $50 shipped. But its probably not a bad option for some. Not wanting to get a crazy...
I have an extra print that I'm not going to use, its the version without magsafe or anything. Ill add a few magnets in there too. Let me know if youre interested. Looking for $40 shipped to you. I'm not trying to start selling these, I just happen to have an extra, and dont want to throw it away.
Another tip: If you are going to use the magnets, insert them before you install anything. I tried adding them after all was said and done, and its hard getting into the tight spots with the shifter in the way and in the car, etc. Just do it before you start the install.
Hey all, I just installed the shifter and have a few tips, it took me longer than it should have for sure, but it works and thats what matters. For reference, I have a Pro with the 'small' 12" screen.
1. I used a dremel to cut off the tabs, super easy. Then used the sanding bit to get it as...
ok i think i figured this out, i used a step file that had the lid as a separate object and just deleted it and will print it separately.
How are you guys cutting off the tabs on the shifter to have it just drop in? dremel?
I think Im missing something, I printed the version with the magsafe slot and the lid built in, but the lid isnt removable? So how would I get the shifter in there?
I printed the version without the magsafe and there isnt a lid, so I can print that separately.
