  4. Lightning vs. Sliverado EV - a direct in-person comparison

TBH, I don't really like the look of the Silverado EV. It's nowhere near as good looking as the F-150 Lightning or GM's own Hummer EV. It's just that the Chevy's front end looks too much like the Bolt. Not exactly the best look for a large truck. -SG
  5. ?‍? F-150 Lightning Build & Price Configurator Now Live! Post Your Build

Finally, Build & Price for the F-150 Lightning is live! Here's my take: A lot of these trims are very expensive, so the Pro is the best value in my opinion. I personally don't think most people will want to pay a $10,000 premium for the extended range battery, plus I'm sure the standard range...
  6. 📒 2022 F-150 Lightning Order Bank Playbook With Pricing! Ordering Begin 1/6, Build & Price Tomorrow 1/4!

Even with said $7,500 tax credit, the Lightning Platinum is roughly $82,500 plus change. Still about $6,500 over the price of a fully loaded Platinum. Will people accept the extra premium? Given how much the new Grand Wagoneers are going for fully loaded (over six figures... ouch!), it's...

The Pro looks very good! Please, Ford, please reconsider offering the extended range battery on the Pro!
  8. Extended Range Lightning Pro is For Commercial Customers Only : Confirmed by Ford

This will without a doubt be a disappointment for value-minded F-150 Lightning buyers, but I guess that's why the XLT is there.

  10. Ford Debuts F-150 Lightning Pro – Electric Work Truck for Commercial Customers

I'm actually really surprised that Ford did the shift lever at all. Given the whole "minimalist" trend with EVs, it's funny they didn't use their rotary dial like with the Mach-E. Me personally, I'm fine with either setup.
  11. Ford Debuts F-150 Lightning Pro – Electric Work Truck for Commercial Customers

They also got rid of the LED light bar at the top of the grill for the Pro.
  12. Answers & Pics From F-150 Lightning Event & Product Experts

I like the look of the F-150 Lightning. The front end is very futuristic, and it differentiates itself very well from the standard truck because of it. Great job, Ford. You nailed it.
  13. More F-150 Lightning Info Coming May 24th, Including Look at Base Model

  15. 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Trims / Models Differences - Explained

Me personally, I think the XLT has the best value. I am actually quite surprised that Ford didn't try to trade out the column shifter for a rotary dial like in the Mach-E.
  16. 2022 F-150 Lightning Side Profile Teaser Look

Does anyone think the rear taillight LEDs are going to wrap around the tailgate? Kind of like how they did with the front LEDs.
  17. Electric F-150 Lightning EV will be revealed livestream May 19

Hold the phone... I think the Lightning will get a different taillight design from the regular trucks. The edge of the taillight on the teaser angles to the rear more sharply than the current design.
  18. Update on our 2021 F150 and Recommended first modifications!

I'm in full agreement about the tires. If you off-road consistently, a set of tires that are better than the stock all-seasons are a smarter choice.
