2023 Lariat ER. My connectivity is randomly available (approximately every other day). No rhyme or reason from what I can see. But you either get lucky on start-up and get the connectivity logo on the Sync 4A or you just don't. I've tried every form of reset (fuses, battery, Sync reset, etc.)...
Don't the battery packs have to be de-charged/uncharged (whatever the correct term is) before they are handled and worked on? I doubt the chop shop had the time or patience to do so. Be careful.
That does make sense, because when it wasn't working for me, on the iPhone I would no longer see "my vehicle" selected as an EV, whereas before I did. So by selecting Saving Energy, you're toggling the EV feature(s). Perhaps.
Phew! Same here.
I really like mine. Soft/no-skid on the bottom. Rigid protection for the sides. I'm sure someone else will fill the gap and make a comparable product.
That’s the key right there. Weight distribution hitches place a moment on the frame that prevents the front-end from lifting. Don’t leave home without it! Of course it helps to have the trailer balanced so you have the correct amount of tongue weight.
Come to think of it, I made a long trip to Ithaca, NY last weekend and I didn't the perpetually annoying warning to re-take control of the steering wheel (while holding it the whole time). Must have gotten the update at some point.
Which begs the question, weren't we suppose to be able to see...
There are two at the Holliday Inn off Elmira Rd. (as well as a bank of several Level 2) however, I believe the L3s are under repair at the moment.
Also, Ithaca College has two (by the Athletic Center)but they have not managed to get them operation since last September when they were installed...
Man! Why is the software update cycle so random for everybody?!
That's crazy! Seems like everyone, or at least everyone with the same model and vintage, should get the updates the same day. Is that too much to ask? What am I missing?
I had a similar problem about a year ago.
It had been a very hot day and my adapter was hot (from being inside a hot car that was in the sun).
Just a thought.
Don’t you guys find that the Starlink pad/antenna needs to be tilted “just so” to get a good signal. I see other using it flat against the sunroof or flat on dash. I’ve tried that and it wants a tilt towards the NE.
Am I doing something wrong?
