Thank you, but "go talk to the dealer" isn't really wanted to hear. Nothing concrete from Ford themselves is disappointing, and my local dealers don't have any Lariats left anyway, so it's a moot point.
All understood, but then don't go promising anything to begin with, all I'm saying. I never would have even brought it up if Ford wasn't the one to offer/promise.
It has been more than a month. Remaining supply is dwindling. Is this happening, or not? I do not fault you personally for any of this of course, but this is exactly how brands lose customers. Offers were promised several months ago, and empty promises do more damage than is probably rational.
Yeah, best I can tell almost all inventory will be gone before Ford can give us whatever this supposed deal is...if any dealers honor it anyway. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised

I guess there's a lot about the priority codes I need to learn then. At some point when it gets closer to being scheduled, Ford will change the code? The OP I quoted implied his code had changed to a 1 sometime after ordering, so I was curious if there was a way to see if mine has changed...
Just curious-how are you checking your priority code? Just asking the dealer to check for you, or is there a way I can do it myself? My order from last week was a priority code 10, not sure if it has moved at all since then.
