you win! I mean I do not know you, I will never know you, so it is not worth arguing. Nevertheless, the “bad decision” led a to a better financial standing and less headaches..
  2. Last day! It was fun expensive and …

I think I have enough history here that shows that I was a believer. I hope you do not have to go through a module replacement…
  3. Last day! It was fun expensive and …

Because there is a reason they have depreciated so much. And those dynamics will only get worse in the coming years. Too many variables that I cannot control and I do not have the enthusiasm nor trust to wait and see.
  4. Last day! It was fun expensive and …

I did not think the truck would’ve depreciated so much. I was wrong. I just don’t want to find out if I am wrong again :). My idea was to keep it for 10-12 years. Again, I just do not want to find out if it will make it etc. But then again, with my luck, in 3 months gas prices go to 6$ ?

no need to replace. Just downsizing to two cars. But one of the 2 cars will be a 150$ a month lease.

So since I already lost 40k, i should be ok to lose another 30k in the next 3 years? Infallible…
  7. Last day! It was fun expensive and …

Let’s start by saying that I never lost so much money on a car. Well did I? From 80k to 40k in 3 years. But that is not counting the rebates etc. Best vehicle I’ve had, but it does not make sense to keep making those high payments anymore. Writing a check for 10k to satisfy negative equity...

  9. Temperature 5F, 3 horn sounds, no remote start

I guess you have not seen dead people on the screen when driving by a cemetery… ??? by the way, I did. No software is perfect.
  10. Temperature 5F, 3 horn sounds, no remote start

This morning I tried to remote start the vehicle. It was 5F outside. The truck was plugged in and when I clicked to turn the climate on the app, the truck would sound the horn 3 timed and the climate command would fail. The app displayed a message saying that it failed to remote start. When I...
  11. Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year.

not bad at all. Do you have a heat pump? (Disregard, I guess not by looking at your total miles) But this is a different scenario. I am looking for a comparison with no preconditioning, seating outside and just drive.
  12. Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year.

I’ll try playing around with it. I want to also check the battery and coolant temperatures.
  13. Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year.

it was lower but not as noticeable around 3-5%
  14. Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year.

The Goodyears are supposed to be at 42 based on the door sticker for the 24 trucks that have these new tires. My door sticker is different because it came with the Hankook Dynapro AT which is set at 36. Tire pressure is not an issue since I am running them at the higher pressure.
  15. Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year.

Sorry it is too cold outside to take a picture :) . I found this picture of the tires on google. you can see the ev specific denomination on the tire. adding tirerack link for specs...
  16. Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year.

Averaging 1.5 mi/kwh @ 32 degrees down from 1.8 mi/kwh last year. As the title says efficiency has gone done by more than 15% compared to last year. This is highway driving, no preconditioning. AC set to auto 1 @ 65 degrees. The only thing different is the set of tires. Last year still had the...
  17. Lightning asked to be plugged in last night because it was cold.

I think this is called a Necropost :) We learned a lot since then and how precondition works.
  18. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

When I look at the list of updates, if I hover over them, I can see the following messages: 1- This application enables the user to install a replacement module. ( example PCM update ) 2- this application enables the user to update the software the module ( example ABS iodate) 3-this...
