Physical dial down also didn't work. Called Ford and as usual they are not very helpful. Said 80A may be too much for other vehicles... That's not how it works (or should work) :-(

Yes, still happy with it. It is not on the truck now (hauling mulch) for pictures. However, even when it is not in the sun, it has a bit of a "shine" and not flat black. I think it is the diamond mist material.

@Ford Motor Company this is a simple fix that could avoid a lot of warranty calls (that doesn't fix it anyway). Always wondered why this simple fix is not used by all manufacturers.
