I appreciate Ford's attempt to engage via this forum, but my interactions via this channel has been pathetic. I replied with my VIN and dealer for this issue and all they wanted to talk about was light bar recall and have I taken my vehicle to the dealer for the Android issue.
Since it appears that Ford is not in any hurry to fix the phone audio issue with Android Auto (https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/android-auto-making-outgoing-calls-not-working.14057/) which is very frustrating, I thought I would jut switch to Sync4 and give up on AA. While the...
From the manual:
Note: The system switches off if you shift
into reverse (R) or neutral (N) while pressing
the brake pedal. If you do not press the
brake pedal while shifting into reverse (R)
or neutral (N), auto hold continues to hold
the vehicle. In this case, pressing the brake
pedal causes...
Any update on this @Ford Motor Company ? I may be just making more calls these days, but I feel like this has gotten lot worse lately. Now people are making fun of Ford/Truck for such a basic failure. BTW, I don't understand why you are asking for a DM with VIN to "look in to this". It is...
Yes, still happy with it. It is not on the truck now (hauling mulch) for pictures. However, even when it is not in the sun, it has a bit of a "shine" and not flat black. I think it is the diamond mist material.
Still waiting for a fix @Ford Motor Company . This is getting really annoying. Every first call I make in the truck has this issue. How they missed this very basic thing in QA testing baffles me!
Checked the filter and it is not bad. I will try to clean the evaporator coils. Does anyone know where they are located and where the A/C drain is? Thanks
@Ford Motor Company this is a simple fix that could avoid a lot of warranty calls (that doesn't fix it anyway). Always wondered why this simple fix is not used by all manufacturers.
Took delivery of 2023 Lariat in Dec. Spring is here and starting to use the AC. Noticed the mold/musty smell from the A/C some times. It doesn't happen always and I can't find a pattern. Did anyone else notice this? Any ideas on the causes and solutions?
I had similar issue with a Lexus in...
Android auto making outgoing calls not working | ⚡️ F-150 Lightning Forum For Owners, News, Discussions (f150lightningforum.com)
I recently received 4.2.2.2 with new UI and it still had the same issue...
+1. I don't understand why Ford thought a hard mute button on steering wheel is not needed but has buttons for vol +/- and seek+/-. A mute and a play/pause would've been consistent with those. There are 4 buttons to control the dash menu/display though.. And what's up with the volume knob...
Truck lost modem connectivity again (4th time) and instead of disconnecting LVB, I thought I'd try pulling BCM fuse 32. I pulled and it while putting it back in, I accidentally dropped it of course could not find. No problem, I will just go to the store and get one, right?. Turns out, without...
My first road trip from Atlanta (Alpharetta) to Charlotte (Marvin) and back. Loved the ride. Handsfree worked great. Very comfortable. Range anxiety on the other hand is a different thing.
On my way there, it was 60F and I was getting 2.3mi/Kwh (mostly around 70mph) and it appeared that I...
Just to clarify, there are two "levels" of BlueCruise. One uses lane keep assist and adaptive cruise and requires that you keep your hands on the wheel. The other is "Handsfree" only on mapped highways where you can take your hands off. It then "watches" you to make sure you are watching the...
My first out of town trip since I got the truck in Dec. Atlanta (Alpharetta) to Charlotte (Marvin). Despite the never ending construction on I-85 and harrowingly narrow barricaded lanes for miles filled with semi-trucks, BlueCruise and Handsfree worked great. I was on Handsfree for 90% of the...
