With a SR battery and a commute of over 100 miles a day (plus kids activities), I charge to 100% about 4 times per week out of necessity.

Got mine yesterday morning at 1am while it was charging. Happy it didn't stop the charge. Sad it wiped out my location, charging schedule and departure times. Those are easy to fix of course, but I'm just happy to be getting updates again. It's been a while.

What does $30k get you nowadays when it comes to a new ride? A Corolla/Civic/small SUV from Kia or Hyunda typically start at $26k and end up around $30k when all is said and done. Was a $30k truck from Ford ever a real possibility? Sounds like more of a pipe dream to me.

I will drive my Lightning until I can't drive it anymore. After that I'll likely go back to an ICE or switch to a plugin hybrid. I won't go back to an EV until someone can produce a Pickup like the Lightning with a minimum range of 500 miles.

I have a 2022 Lariat SR and during the winter I charge to 100% Mon through Thur (WFH on Friday). My commute is 100+ miles a day and I usually have to shuttle the kids around after work so I typically need about 90% of it. I charge to 90% during the summer.

I'm at 85k miles on my 22 Lariat and my brakes are fine.

I wouldn't pay $.05 for it. I enjoy driving too much and the juice just isn't worth the squeeze at this stage.
