This is probably a repeat of many others already in the thread - but my goodness this is yet another failure on Ford's part to treat their customers as if they're important. Having known this was going to be coming over a year ago, they should have had these adapters immediately in stock for...
Hmmmā¦.thanks for this. That sure looks like a lot of work to get to. Guess I should have had them change it out when it was in for its repairs at the body shop after the accident instead š.
Oh well.
Hi all,
Has anyone else seen this? In Canada, with my Platinum, and I had a notification in the FordPass App which told me the below, indicating I had been upgraded to BlueCruise 1.2, with the lane change, and even tells me to go in and change my settings. This clearly can't be right...
Hi all,
Anyone had this recently? It was working fine for a very long time since having the system fixed at the dealer so that the vehicle stays connected to the FordPass app now....but now it just doesn't precondition.
At least it's a bit warmer now and I don't worry so much about damage to...
The great news was that itās fully driveable. No sensors damaged, no steering issues. Literally got winched out and drove away.
And yes, those are 5 Thule Upride bike racks on top of a Retrax Pro tonneau cover. Had it on my 2018 Platinum too. Love it.
Awesome - all my sensors are still goodā¦.as far as I can tell. And no, donāt need the licence plate bracket :) - but I suspect I need the bracket for the bumper.
Iāll let you know once insurance gets back to me Monday. Already had it in for the estimate Friday.
Yeah, sheās okay. I didnāt make a big deal of it, and indeed, she knows that the person in charge who made the decision to do the driving was the one at fault :(
Yeah, Iām interested to know if perhaps I can at least get the bumper fixed, as I expect my light bar (which is cracked) and the grille to take longer (for no real reason other than those seem more specialized).
I expect my damage is $15K total with the various panels that need paint...
Yes, the irony was that I had been shopping for the past weeks for a Focus hatchback, and then figured we could go out into the country without any issues coming up. Nope.
Live and learn. I'm interested to see how long parts take to arrive.
Hopefully this is a good reminder to those who are not as dumb as me. Daughter panicked and then hit the gas, not the brake.
Thankfully all cosmetic damage except the air dams.
Ok this is it! Finally, the right wording of "Glare Free" and I can find stuff on it :)
Also, not sure how my 2018 F150 goes from having an "auto highbeam" setting that was totally useless and never did the right thing, to this which seems to be nearly perfect from what I can tell.
Thanks!
No, on my Platinum the lights do really intelligent things at night. But there doesnāt seem to be a description anywhere about what it is they are doing. Perhaps itās the Anti Glare? But the coolest part is that the high beams are illuminating the ditches even if Iām following another car, but...
Hey all,
looking to find out a bit more about how my Platinum auto high beams are working. Seems to be very cool, and will have the high beams off to the side but not in front of me if a car is ahead of me. Then turn down only the oncoming traffic one as a car approaches.
Anyone seen any demos...
I can confirm that, because of THIS THREAD I was able to get the ford āsplash guardsā as noted above. They look great, and were pretty easy to install.
When I had called the parts department directly, they couldnāt locate them. But giving them these part numbers above, my salesperson got them...
Hi all,
Did my first drive in excess of 100km (62 mi), with definitely lower range than expected.
For reference, the conditions are as such:
- Roughly 0 degrees C (32F) today
- 25-30km / hr wind (16-19 mi)
- trip was round trip from my house
- Charged overnight to 90%, then boosted to 93%...
