My HIS is still functioning, since my last post. I’ve had and reported FordPass issues to SunRun/Ford, but they haven’t impeded the system from working. All issues I have reported have been resolved in about 48-72 hours of reporting them. .

The Backup Power feature under the charging section is now functional again.

It appears the Ford Pass app issue has been resolved.

I recommend disabling Apple CarPlay (if used) when performing the pairing process. This has solved the problem for me, as my phone will resort back to CarPlay over my home network during the pairing process.

You have to remove the old FCSP and configure the new FCSP, so it breaks the FordPass app functionality. I am actively working with SunRun and Ford to get it resolved. As you’d expect, the process isn’t seamless.

My original charger was just replaced for this exact issue to include the cost of the electrician to perform the swap. I was able to isolate the problem to the WiFi module. Whole process took about 10 days, including reimbursement.
