Same issue. Sometimes I can override and try to redo the installation. Sometimes I cannot force it to update now and it only tries in the evening per the schedule.
I have tried to force it after a long drive, no success. I have had very little luck with OTA updates, most of them I’ve had to do...
Paid version. And I bought the recommended ODBC bluetooth adapter to get real-time battery information into the app. There isn't much better than this app, although for some reason when I'm going to Tesla charging stations it doesn't properly connect to show the real-time status of the available...
Yeah but they won't do that unless they are being paid to do other things. I tried twice already - and they were even doing other things on my truck. So screw it, I don't really care so much about that feature to beg for it. Yet another failed experience with Ford (again, thankfully the driving...
It seems for me that in order to have the pleasure of software updates, I have to pay for an FDRS license and do it myself. I really don't know why Ford is so damn bad at this. Between this awful software experience and the laggy screen UI, not sure I would buy another Ford EV (which is sad...
ABRP. I used the paid plan and the ODBC adapter to send real time info from the truck to the app. The navigation is ok, but can get tricky if you are in a city. It used to show real-time charging station status, but I'm not getting that to work (anybody else have that issue, and more importantly...
Had the same issue as others mentioned with the Hankooks - very bad tire wear along the outside of the tire. But yeah they were smooth!
Now I make sure to rotate the new tires every 10k. I will have to check what I put on them this time, I can’t remember other than they weren’t the Hankooks!
If your PAAK doesn't connect, go into Bluetooth settings and enjoy watching the connection keep trying to engage, disengage, engage, disengage... sometimes watching it for a bit seems to make it work! No idea why it does this, is it an Apple issue, a Bluetooth issue, a Ford issue?
And for sure...
1. Local town utility. I had capacity at the main box on the house, the electrician branched off of that into another box before the meter, and the utility had to both temporarily shut off the power at the street and then slap another meter on the new box. I did this for a couple of reasons: 1)...
I'd consider it but I have a direct line from the street feeding my charger, so I wouldn't be able to benefit from the bi-directional capabilities to power my house during an outage.
I have to park all the way into the garage and have little room to pull stuff out of the trunk after being out, so I usually don’t use it regularly and just put stuff in the backseat.
