I have seen this recently also - 7/22, 7/25, and 7/26. Some of the messages come late so that aligns with the latent message issue mentioned. No issues with charging. I think this is a software or firmware issue and Ford seems aware of it.
I have a 2023 and use an 80A breaker for 64A charge at 13.1KW. It has worked great for 2 years and maybe improved a little with the app updates. There is some data you get from the charger that is spotty at best but I got used to not getting it (the charge cost based on your utility). The...
I usually keep vehicles for 8-12 years and this will likely be no different. I may trade in when the warranty is near the end. I am older (60+) and want the latest tech to help me. I just had the lighting in the body shop for a small repair and the replacement rental, although a brand new Ram...
I’ve had the OBDLink CX for a year working good. It is a less expensive option - OBDLink makes a few models and I think they all work but have various features related to different scanners and code modification software. The OBDLink MX+ would be a better option and I didn’t know this but it...
I have noticed this issue also in the last 2-3 weeks. It is likely a software issue with Ford or in my case Apple as updates are deployed from either side affecting the Bluetooth drivers. I have a cable plugged into the center console that is solid so I have been using that for now until...
I am not sure of the part number but I had a windshield replaced recently by Champion Auto Glass, which was recommended by the dealer, and they purchased the windshield from a dealer. The replacement had the 75 year insignia. Check if Safelite is getting the OEM part from a dealer and the part...
I have the same situation here - Garage is for my wife’s Explorer and I have my vehicles in the driveway. I have the charger on the outside of the house - it is rated for outdoor service - and I have about 15’ run but the cord may got 20’. I recommend not to stretch it.
I have seen this also. Not every time I charge, but I have heard the clicking. I checked my meter at that time and the charge station was drawing about 6.6kW instead of my max of 13kW (65A setting). I notice the charger does this when I want a certain % by 6am and the off peak charging time...
I received the 4.2.1.1 update also. I could not find any specific information either. I almost immediately received a message that I would be getting the 4.2.1.2 Power-Up update. No info on that either.
