Battery module #1 just found out today is bad on my current lightning. My previous lightning was module #9, ford got that truck back. Guessing this is a bigger problem than I could have imagined. Two different lightnings I’ve owned and both have now had bad modules. Ugh..!! Unbelievable..!!
Update: <Bad battery module #1
No time frames yet on parts or ship dates as of today @ closing time.
Finding it very strange I’ve owned two 2023 Lightning’s and each one has had a bad module, with truck build dates nearly 14 months apart.
Thinking it’s about time that ford needs to admit...
That is frustrating.
I have the same camera for past couple years. My issue is even after changing out to a better quality faster memory card that for some dumb reason at times it does not record. Yes a dash cam that fails to record 100% of the time is concerning. WTH?
Was definitely concerned after seeing these site messages first thing this morning. My morning started out with high voltage battery pack reduced power to 20% and power train warnings so I checked site to find it was temporary down of course lol…Mondays Mondays, just gotta love them.
—-Thanks...
Ugh, got these this am..!! Dealership can’t see me until the 31st to diagnose and order likely battery modules.
Reduced power to 20% and Powertrain malfunction with high voltage battery warning.

Loving this look. Regular Line-X or the Ultra..? I’m needing this done on mine. Not a fan of all the road debris that has chipped off the cheap paint on the cheap painted plastic front end on our Platinum.
Like doctors opinions, it’s been worth it for me to go to a second tire shop , non chain type. Not promoting un-safe repairs keep in mind, it’s discretionary often times. I’ve found out personally if it works safely based on an experts opinion it works for me. Some shops are more about...
Thanks, I suppose I was being a little overly concerned about how high of pressure that I needed to be at. Other cars I used to run closer to max psi without issue. I need to see what that is on these tires and do some road testing. Thank you.
I keep my same tires at 42psi cold but as soon as sun hits them or some driving they go up to 45-46psi. help me out here, what kind of tire pressure are you seeing once you hit the road or have a warm day vs a cold day.
I am feeling like I could bump my psi up a bit more now. Really...
I turned back on my power folding mirrors as a visual indicator the other day. Noticed with my phone only on my person that the WAL is fast-fast, 20-30 feet. With key fob and no phone it could be double that easily. Overall it’s taking me a little time to get used to it. It’s pretty handy...
As of now I am now showing WAL on my truck under locks where it should be. I’ve not done any FORScan stuff on my truck yet though, only the today’s update.
I’ve received it and it has been installed.
I have not tested it much yet as far as the reported WAL or anything else. I do like the reported frunk operation improvements per the already shown release notes.
No EAP indication or email received as of yet.
I’ve had 2 nails and 1 screw this past year…(in my truck tires lol). $20 a repair seems fair enough for plug/patch combination is whet I pay locally. I’ve seen that tpms message a little too often lol. Agree the ford pass app is how I was notified each time.
I’ve already received and tried two different orders of ones that the knob covers do not fit unfortunately. I have the shifter from the OP that is $30 and has the M button. The FORD LX6P-7P155
Maverick one is too big, ?
Bronco Sport one is too big ?
I’ve been using this one for the volume knob and love it for the last couple of years.

I’m waiting for a suitable one to fit my shifter now. So far no bueno they all have been too big.
Would it create any problem as a 2023 owner if I install one of these chargers at my 2700 sqft’ cabin on a 100amp breaker but then chose to dial it down to the 48amp setting on the selector dial at a later time.? I am considering that as a possibility as we are all electric on a 200amp panel...
