They just stated that it wasn’t covered under warranty according to their system. I probably could have pushed the issue, but this is my only vehicle and they were about to close, so I just paid for it as I couldn’t wait the whole weekend to have a working vehicle.

I actually know this one as I had to remove it for the ambient light mod for the cup holders and media light. It covers a bolt that holds the shifter in place. Fun fact, you can take all 4 bolts out and pull the shifter out pretty easily as its shift by wire. it made it a lot easier to access...

This weekend I added the ambient lighting for the Media Bin as well as swapped out the cup holders in the console with the ones that have the ambient lighting in them. It was a pretty easy install, and there is a forum thread that details how to do it. I think all in the cost was under $200...
