Steamboat Lake State Park in Colorado isn’t allowing EV charging at electric sites. It’s not an advertised restriction before you book or anywhere in the campground. There is a sign in the outlet box to turn off your light to preserve the night sky. Nothing about EVs. But, the campground host...
Others have reported the truck consumes about 400W ON with AC outlets on. Your test mirrors those reports with larger error bars. You measured 365-509W depending on the fractional percent of the start and end. An accessory battery and inverter is much more efficient for small loads. And you...
I used the Telluride supercharger in a parking garage. Used my adapter and the garage shade ensured direct sun wasn't a factor. But, it's still summer. Starting about 28% SOC, I got about 165 kW peak, but the average dropped to 107 kW by the time I got to 80%. The original Ford spec was to...
That silly center console interrupts the flat floor for a double. Maybe the next EV-specific platform will get rid of unnecessary obstructions like this. If you use a 2'x4'x0.25" plywood platform seen in Figure 5, you can span the gap between the folded down seats and the console and fit an...

4. $20 Electric kettle...
By better, I assume you mean the most efficient? The fridge uses 12V DC, probably about 50W cycling on and off averaging maybe 20W depending on ambient temperature. I've heard leaving the truck on with AC power inverters active uses 400W (plus any load).
If you're talking about leaving the...

If that were true, your cell phone wouldn't work being surrounded by glass and aluminum. Not in our F-150s.
That said, Starlink uses 10.7-12.7 GHz for downlink and 12.75-13.25 GHz, 13.85-14.5 GHz for uplink. The higher Starlink frequency will see more loss than cell phones.
Here's a session from the 250 kW Tesla charger in Rifle, CO 11% to three points yesterday evening.
I'm only getting 75% of the average power @tommolog gets =(. He has a handy table graphic at the bottom of this page. He's charging 33% faster than me! It took me an extra 12 min to get to...
Most likely. The dash warning says service vehicle soon - you can keep driving until as convenient as it is to give up your vehicle for weeks to a service department. You can clear the error code and continue on trips with DC fast charging if needed.
If you have a module with voltage out of...
Shorting ground to neutral ("bonded neutral") did the trick for compatibility between the Ecoflow battery powered inverter and the F Mobile EVSE. Ran the ecoflow Delta Pro 3.6 kWh from 91% (3,276 Wh) to 0 in 2h22m with the Ford Mobile EVSE. Fordpass reports 2.8 kWh delivered for 83.5-87.5%...
I'm color deficient... Here are photos after it stopped charging after delivering 400 Wh in 20 minutes.
Plugged the Ford EVSE into the garage house power next it was still charging after delivering 800 Wh in 40 min.
I'm charging off of truck-roof solar through an Ecoflow Delta Pro with a floating neutral. The Ford Mobile EVSE charges initially, but stops after ~20 min after delivering 400 Wh.
Curious the Amproad EVSE doesn't care about the floating neutral but the Ford EVSE cares... after 20 min.
Seems...
Edit: Ford EVSE does not like Ecoflow Delta Pro's floating neutral. Amproad EVSE charges fine with it.
I'm at 35k miles, and the Ford EVSE keeps illuminating the amber light shortly after plugging in. Ford pass reports a charging error. The Amproad EVSE works fine in the same conditions.

I had module #3 replaced.
I've just had the vehicle back a couple of days. After getting the repaired vehicle back, AC charging was slowing above 93% which was the identical symptom with a cell 30 mV out of balance pre repair. I've been charging to 100% and discharging (driving) to see if...
Post module replacement, I still have slower than typical AC charging above 93%. The 240V/80A 16.3 kW charge has slowed to 11.2 kW already at 93%. AC charging typically stays at max until ~98%. Does it normally take awhile post module replacement to return to the normal charging curve?
Day 25, Fri 31 Jan. 5p. Vehicle warranty repair complete with replacement module #3.
Colorado Lemon law allows for 24 business days for a repair which would have been Mon 10 Feb (35 calendar days).
@Ford Motor Company - do you want your customers to be without their perfectly drivable, new...

Ask for Battery Electric Vehicle team
If you get a gasoline powered loaner, you can let Ford corporate know. They'll ask for your VIN and mileage. If your VIN and mileage qualify, and they still have budget left... they'll give you a case number and ask you the keep the receipts to...
I've seen in the powertrain malfunction thread someone mentioning calling Ford for reimbursement of some expenses during a warranty repair like rental car, fuel. I don't see this included in the "Battery Electric Vehicle Warranty Guide." Page 12 first paragraph states Ford is not responsible...
