  1. AWD stopped working at the worst time

Yes, off road mode selected. Locking diff selected. Front wheel did not spin at all.
  2. AWD stopped working at the worst time

Yes, with locking diff turned on No, in the sense power isn’t really an issue in the sand. There was no power to the front wheels at all. I wasn’t aware of the bug when I was stuck. So I did not turned on the power distribution screen. My suggestion for others going forward is to turn it on...
  3. AWD stopped working at the worst time

Thought I share this in case anyone else gets stuck. Last weekend, I took the Lightning to the beach and was promptly stuck (have driven on beach many times without issue). When I tried to dig it out, I noticed that the front wheels never spins. Which I think cause me to get stuck. After an...
  4. Battery Level in Apple Carplay (Apple Maps) no longer available

My phone hasn’t updated in a while. So don’t think it’s due to an update. The fact that getting the battery SOC needs to have via cellular vs an API with the car is silly. CarPlay is already communicating with the cars audio system.
  5. Battery Level in Apple Carplay (Apple Maps) no longer available

Same here. My battery is stuck at 36%. Meaning most places it’s telling me to get a charge. Since I can’t remove the charging stop, this makes maps useless until this is resolved
  6. Ford Telsa Adapter. - difficult to plug in

Thanks all for sharing your experiences. The Tesla side goes in easily. It’s the CCS side that’s hard to push in even with the Tesla side plugged in first. I don’t plan on using it much so I guess I can live with it. Will just be careful when using.
  7. Ford Telsa Adapter. - difficult to plug in

Spoke too soon. Here’s the product info. My phone doesn’t pick up the QR code.
  8. Ford Telsa Adapter. - difficult to plug in

Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure how I can tell which adapter I have. There’s no markings on mine. Here’s a picture. Thanks
  9. Ford Telsa Adapter. - difficult to plug in

Hi, Charge at a telsa supercharger with the ford supplied adapter for the first time last weekend. I had a very difficult time getting the adapter to lock. I had to push really hard, so hard that the charging port was flexing. The latch didn’t catch until the internal lock engaged. Do others...
  10. Active shutter Actuator location

Thank you. My theory was that while they did the repair on my parking sensor, they might have accidentally unplug the actuator. So, if it’s accessible or even where the location, I can check that.
  11. Active shutter Actuator location

Thanks for the reply. Mine is partially opened. It used to be closed on cold days and on warmer days they are open. Now it’s in the same position.
  12. Active shutter Actuator location

Hi, I took my truck in for service a few months back and since I’ve gotten it back, the Active Shutter (shutters in front of radiator)doesn’t seem to be working. It’s stuck in the same position regardless of outside temperature. I think (hoping) they might not have plug is back in when they...
  13. Ford pass auto start is missing?

It has been replaced with the climate start button. Serves the same purpose as there isn’t an engine to start so the only thing to turn on climate.
  14. Charging Cost at Ford Dealership is ridiculous

All American Ford of Hackensack. In Hackensack, NJ.
  15. Charging Cost at Ford Dealership is ridiculous

Fair point. I think I was trying to emphasize that the charge pricing is/will have a negative effect on Ford EV sales.
  16. Charging Cost at Ford Dealership is ridiculous

I was visit my sister in law this week and went to a Ford dealership to charge the truck. It was label as $0.50 kWh/$0.50 per min. I thought it was $0.50 while charging and $0.50 per min while idle. To my surprised, it was both. The charger was around 60 kWh, so effectively, I was getting...
  17. Lane keep no longer calibrated after dealer diagnostic on parking sensor

Update - I finally took my truck to a new dealers last month, Sayville Ford. While they took 2 weeks to fix, they were working on the truck the whole time and kept communicating the status. They did multiple programming and replaced several parts including the IPMA camera. Very happy with the...
  18. 8 Days Without A Repair Diagnosis—Is This Reasonable?

I’ve had mine at the dealer for 2 weeks to address a blue cruise issue. Truck was driving in between 2 lanes with blue cruise. They changed 2 parts, I think tried programming 4 times but can address the issue. Very frustration…
