Call around to other dealerships and ask if they are willing to commit to no more than MSRP. You'll find at least one in Socal. I was able to find one in the Bay Area. Then tell them that you want to transfer your order to them. They will work with Ford and get it changed.
I got the email a couple weeks ago and the upgrades were going smoothly. Unfortunately my latest update is failing - version 2.5.1. I've tried it 3 times now and twice I got a message in FordPass acknowledging that it failed. Message on the phone says there will be some instructions on the...
10% is a joke. If they really cared then they would set up a program where buyers could report dealers charging an ADM. I talked with close to a dozen dealerships in the Bay Area and only one committed to not charging over MSRP. Many of them put their ADMs in writing - over email. I'd happily...
I didn't pay close attention that part. I know the tech who was doing the install has to get help because he couldn't get the brake light to work. Can't say if there was an additional wiring harness. Have you reached out to RSI directly? I've found them to be very responsive.
I noticed some odd discoloration on my rear bumper. At first I thought I was rear-ended, but that isn't the case. It is almost like something scratched it. Has anyone seen this before? I tried washing it but that didn't help either.
Just heard from the shop where I put down a deposit - my smartcap is in and I'm going to get it installed on the 29th. I got the rack and table too. Apparently the table hasn't come in yet.
I got a new iPhone and picked up a MagSafe charger for my truck. It is a USB-C plug and every once in a while I get a warning on the screen “This USB device is not supported. Please remove.” Still works just fine…
Has anyone else seen this?
@KartRacer25 I took some photos but don’t think they are very helpful. At least I can’t tell anything for the break pad. Front left, front right and then a shot of the front right caliper
hmmm... that would be very interesting. My MPG has seemed much lower than I expected. Almost all highway miles and I don't have a heavy foot. I struggle to get 19 MPG - even on the freeway.
I just had my first oil change and check up at 6K miles. Dealer says my front brakes are at 4mm and back brakes are at 8mm. Dealer thinks that maybe a rotor is warped in the front. Most of my driving has been highway miles and no towing. Has anyone else seen their front brakes wear this quickly?
