I wouldn’t quite say that.
when I recently went to Death Valley national park and into the ranger station - they specifically told me I couldn’t charge (the EV sound and no idle gave it away)
in fact they specifically noted that “ their system can’t do the continuous power draw and any damage...
ugh.
Also - Good luck charging on Oahu (if that is where you went). Unless you home charge - options are pretty horrific.
More 1772 slow chargers around the island considered to be EV friendly. If I recall, one EA spot and even very few Tesla chargers!
I have a similar problem but modified by a few major factors being in California
My problem was not getting a charger from Sunrun, though - it is about getting it installed.
1. California changed net metering to essentially require home storage batteries in mid April, so there was a massive...
A good friend of mine got rid of his Tundra and didn’t want the smaller R1T, but opted for the R1S.
He told me this morning that he wished he just got the F150 - combination of internal size and a truck bed that he didn’t think he would miss.
He is now contemplating potentially the Silverado...
I’m in the same boat as Zprime. I realized now that you never really know when you’re getting an update
However
I did get mail from Ford yesterday that said that I have a “customer experience upgrade” that upgrades something to do with the charging system that is an OTA that if it freezes, you...
I had this happen now a second time (that I noticed). First time was after a DC fast charge, last night was after a Level 2 charge (very low rate ~3kW) but on charge for around 10 hours.
No fault code, front motor not operating as others have said.
after making a stop for a bit, returned to...
I can come up with a rational argument of why 80, but I don’t recall bluecruise hands free not continuing to be hands free when the truck hits 81mph. Is this a new limitation?
so I can set any speed, and hands free clicks on and off at 80 depending on how the flow of traffic is going...
This was the instructions I needed last weekend - this is the checklist you need for sure - which I had to figure out - the owners manual wasn’t the simplest instructions
I didn’t know about the vehicle timed power down setting so initially had to return to the car every 30 minutes for my plugs to turn back on (was charging a jackary).
Was a dream to find that setting and have the truck charge our campsite battery for the next night.
I appreciate that it would...
I had this happen to me yesterday - had the truck for around 1 week / 200 miles
DC fast charged 46-86% while at a quick lunch (wow it is fast!)
Stopped charge, unplugged, and headed home. 56% power was the max on the drive home
Back to normal when I left the house for dinner
