My dealer also tried to play that card that an EV tech has to do it. I finally convinced them that the part was no different than on an ICE truck. Its like they don't even want to touch an EV, even for the simplest maintenance.

Update finally installed correctly last night after the first time ended in failure over a week ago. After waiting 8 months for the first update, we'll see how things go from here.

My delivery estimate slips to the right every three days it seems. Originally dealer expected it on the 19th. And then there is this: I know it means nothing, but it so exemplifies this whole process.

Hmm. My estimated delivery date was pushed forward a week and is now any day now (16 -22 June). I wonder how accurate that is though. Status is "built" but not "shipped", but I have seen that doesn't mean much. Less than an 8 hour drive from the factory to Maryland, but that does not mean it...

Looks like Ford got that shipment of flux capacitors to finish some builds. No trains need to drive to Maryland!

I know vehicles under recall cannot be delivered to the customer, but can they still be sent to the dealer? That is 99% of the battle. Edit. Looking at the recall thread, trucks built since March might not be affected. Back to the Ramp 51 Bermuda Triangle

This new sticker is fancier than the old one. They seem to placing a picture of a model of your order in the background. In my case an agate black Lariat, which matches the footer code.
