Your truck will work fine for your set up, and I agree, I would not be pulling max on these trucks, unless your a flat lander

Just get the dealer to install they have to program it any way, don’t wast your time. They can install it in minutes, they program.

They are a little mud flap, you can get trim pieces to cover once removed

You hit the nail on the head, there is no work around except get a lower trim, with max payload package, with a lot Less options. if you have a platinum or limited I think they assume you stay in a hotel, lol

I use WDH, would not tow with out it at hiway speeds, also if you have ever had a trailer go into sway, you would not tow again without WDH/ sway control

I think the husky cover down a little lower on the inside of the wheel/ shock area

I have the max tow coming on my 2021 6.5’ lariat, so I will see how it sits with trailer when it gets here

I had air bags on my 2009 XLT, loved them, made the towing experience exceptional, with the WDH.

All the added options your truck has like Running boards, tailgate step, sun roof, bigger wheels etc all add up to reduce from the base payload you originally looked up

Tail gate is way to wide for cube bikes

The tail gates are so thick now at the top, My Cube e mountain bikes would not sit well on the tailgate if at all, the geometry is different
