Did I buy the wrong OBD to do these scans? I'm very confused and the app it has me download doesn't give much info for a BEV. Any help is appreciated.
I know not the same thing, but the Gator flush trifold cover I've had for 26k miles is really leaking a lot more at the edges now which makes leaving thing in the bed that can't get wet a problem. I could use the option for the rack for sure with a 12' wooden canoe being a transportation pain...
I thought cool, I'll put a deposit down, but then I calmed down lol. This seems like trying to make a US market for a Japan Kei type truck.
I love how everyone gets excited for a Kei in the US, they are a unique experience for most Americans for sure. But after 3 months in north Japan with...
I'm sure if they add these to local Wal-Marts not close to normal travel/trip routes they will be used by people with no home charging ability.
I've you have never experienced the stress and pain of a Walmart EA stations blocked by 3 chevey bolts (and 1 broken station) on a roadtrip with a...
You are a unique individual pushing the SR limit like I would never consider to maintain a happyish wife;)
If I could tell anyone new to EV one thing it would be avoid EA and CP at all cost. Stop early at Tesla, use the app and either get the provided adapter or buy a quality A2Z one...
I honestly don't understand how even the dealership didn't know the tire, they tried to say my truck came with another brand based on VIN. I know 2023 was a challenge year, mine was built for me and the first one my dealership sold. Sam's Club was just easy and fast, I was at my appointment 20...
So the stocked Goodyear Wrangler took a cut and when I called, the dealership, my tire shop and finally Goodyear store, nobody could find an EV branded Wrangler. I didn't want to go into this Memorial Weekend on a spare, so Sam's Club mounted Pirelli Scorpion in stock that seem good. 70k mile...
No way I'll ever trust the Ford Nav for route planning. It still routinely routes to 60kw stations vs stopping early and hitting higher speed stations.
Great advertising piece, I admire you all for sure and glad you spent the significant time planning and charging for your situation. I decided to going skiing with my son to West Virginia and it took one look at ABRP to determine a rental Toyota Camery was best option. The infrastructure...
So you are almost paid off to own the Honda and now you are going into a lease, which you won't own at the end after those payments and have nothing to trade in? I'm not a lease person and feel ownership is best to be. $599 / month is pretty big payment to me for something I'll never own...
The change is predictable. They are too expensive and do not substitute well. I have a ski trip and if I took the lighting it would add 2+ hours to a 9 hr trip and the destination is 65miles from any fast charger and no significant destination chargers. If it was me alone, I'd probably do...
Ya the issue is Ford Nav, it is garbage when you just need chargers and no BS. Yes you can change settings, research trips and other ridiculous BS not required for any ICE road trip. The fact is jumping in an EV to drive more the 200 miles round trip just isn't good in many areas of the USA...
If I'm honest, I'm happy with the truck and will keep it. However, given then trips to Mississippi I have to take and the fact charging options aren't improving, I'd probably have bought a new RAM 1500 with a hemi instead.
So smell was easily gone in a day. The feel is very nice. My only nit picks are the head rest fit over, but I wish they zipped at the bottom for a nicer finished look. The backseat is good but I wish it was a slip over like the front seats for a nicer fit.
A2Z is excellent, I bought one since the free adaptor was delayed and needed one. They did a 100% recall and replacement on the early Gen 1s and while it took a bit to show up, they followed up email communication well. I now have both the Ford adaptor and A2Z updated. I'd recommend A2Z.
XLT does not have vented seats. The materials the vented looking style perforated middle, so maybe. I wouldn't put covers on leather ventilated seats IMO. These are very specific to XLT trim, especially the back seat with no arm rest fold down.
Just did some adjustments on the backseat to...
Start to finish was about 2 hrs, looks good for well under $200 too.
