  1. Manual Nav Update - Tesla Superchargers

Yes, it’s infuriating but Ford managed to pull off that deal with Tesla to get us access to the chargers and then over a year later they still cannot get them all in their navigation, it’s very frustrating while traveling, especially by yourself you’re having to use the Tesla app while you drive...
  2. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

Thanks and congratulations! I had just about given up any hope of getting it on my 22 Platinum, I have a long trip next weekend, hoping I’ll get it soon.
  3. Apple iOS 18.4 will finally recognize Tesla superchargers in navigation

I’m a beta tester/developer for Apple and have been on 18.4 for several weeks now and still not showing all the Tesla stations available to my Lightning. I hope they get it fixed before it goes to the public
  4. Got the BC 1.4 today, and I LOVE it? But...

Well if their Pedestrian Detection worked it should t have been an issue. I have long suspected that the pedestrian detection did not work, but I’ve never had a good way to test it.
  5. Anyone else still w/o BC 1.4?

Same here on my ā€˜22. I got a warning the other day when I started up the truck in the driveway, said to stop vehicle as soon as possible. I suspect was Frunk related as I had just closed it I turned off the truck and opened and closed the Frink and then it was fine. Would have been better if the...
  6. Announcing: Expanded Charge Settings – Take Control of Your Charge

Agreed, I like the different charge targets at different locations, Ford loves to take away features now so they can pretend to be like Tesla seeing what is used etc. But we use these features, just clean them up and quit taking stuff away!
  7. Anyone else still w/o BC 1.4?

Never got 1.2 on my ā€˜22 Platinum, I was expecting that a year ago, really concerning how they’re stringing us along. It’s not like we can trade up to a 2024 or 2025, those of us that bought 2022’s got hit hard by depreciation when the bottom fell out of the EV market
  8. Announcing: Expanded Charge Settings – Take Control of Your Charge

Absolutely! This should have been in there 2 years ago. We don’t always plan our lives out weeks in advance, and we don’t leave for work at the same time every day. I’d like to be able to initiate the battery preheat the same way I do the vehicle temperature remotely
  9. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

Why did it take a year to get these added to the database? Many of us have had the adapters since April or May of last year and it’s been infuriating dealing with the navigation and having to use the Tesla app while driving to try and locate compatible superchargers along our routes? Ford did...
  10. When you cant get Peacock on the screen for the race

lol, yeah it’s the wind today, was much colder last night, I was here 20 years ago when it was 27 and everyone was sold out of gloves and blankets etc, so yeah this is not that bad. Seen several other lightnings here this year, 2 years ago I was the only one here
  11. When you cant get Peacock on the screen for the race

When you can’t get the channel you want on the screen and you’re freezing at the Rolex 24 in Daytona, and it occurred to me I can just bring the tailgate TV inside!
  12. How to navigate to Tesla Chargers?

I have had an adapter for months now, and some Tesla chargers show up in the Ford navigation and some don’t, seems like about 30% of compatible Tesla chargers show up in Ford navigation. Not sure what their excuses for that. Getting the agreement with Tesla was great for us, but if you don’t...
  13. Farley says Level 3 Autonomous Driving in 2026

I like Farley but this truck can’t even stay inside the lanes with any amount of reliability, it simply cannot identify the lane and sitter smoothly to stay in it, if it’s still daunted by that then I don’t see their Level 3 getting approved anytime soon. There are a lot of other factors that...
  14. Dealer charged me for warranty due to hardwired dashcam

Well a hardwired dashcam is add on electrical equipment and that is specifically mentioned in all vehicle warranties. And if it is powered all the time it will run down the small 12v battery that these trucks have and could potentially cause issues. And running a 12v battery down to 12.2v is...
  15. Software Priority Update: 23-PU1024-6CH-AUD - Refined Audio

I thought it might be to fix the occasional abrupt hiss I hear when activating voice command or Siri, sometimes it makes odd noises when it interrupts the music, other times not. Other than that I have no static or hiss etc while music is playing in my Platinum, maybe this is a 2023 issue as I...
  16. Priority Update: 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2: Improved DC Fast Charging

I tried everything to get it to update, but I have never left a fob in it, insurance doesn’t pay when you do that. I tried putting a charger on the 12v battery every night for 2 weeks, charging to 85% every night before the 2am update schedule, turning lights off manually, being on WiFi… All the...
  17. Priority Update: 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2: Improved DC Fast Charging

Agreed, my truck is a year behind in updates, but I have none of the problems people are talking about and I don’t really care for Phone as a Key, so I guess the failed updates are a blessing
  18. FCSP Update Pending, Connection Lost

agreed, I thought Siemens made better products than this. Of all the problems this thing has, the fact that the physical reset button on the board doesn’t do anything is really telling you a lot. The fact that it can get hung up on your WiFi network and refuse to connect to a new router with the...
  19. BlueCruise 1.3 announced, coming to Lightning by end of the year

not definitely does work better out of cities, and it’s very sensitive to the quality of the road and line markings. Most of my driving is on I-77 in the Charlotte NC area and that road is a disaster with toll lanes and crooked lines and varying lane widths. It does not handle that well at all...
