Full disclosure folks, I cancelled my order a several weeks ago when I made the decision that I didn't want a full-size pickup as my daily. Mine was delivered to my dealer, Kings Ford in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago. It is still on the lot with the $1500 Ford discount and a dealer discount...
LOL, Ford must know who I am on this forum. I just received this email...
Thank you for being a valued Ford customer. We wanted to update you again on the status of your F-150 Lightning XLT order. While we initially predicted your vehicle build would begin week of August 28, 2023, the supply...
If you don't really want it until December, I don't think any of these options are crazy. One other option will be to buy off the lot soon. I would wager money that once Ford's Lightning production increases start getting a ton more to the dealers, we are going to see some serious markdowns in...

EDIT - I guess the Expedition's wheel base is over 20 inches shorter than the the F-150, even though...
It is a double-edged sword. Ford is one of a handful of manufacturers that gives out this level of information about production. It is definitely frustrating sometimes, but I appreciate the fact that they let us come along for the ride.
No new news on my blend date 9-3-23 build yet. Still in the production status with no date below that field, no response from the Ford Pass App, etc. I have not checked the modules yet.
I hate to speculate about the possibility of a strike, but at least Ford is in the best position of the big three to avoid being targeted since they actually put an offer on the table.
