There is actually a good fast charger at an Irving/Circle K in Dover. It's very near our house so we never use it, but it's the best option along Route 16. Dover also has brand new Tesla Superchargers right off Route 16. They may not even show up yet on the mao, but they just got out in a...
The Seabrook Electrify America charger has been very fast and reliable the couple times we have used it. You won't ever need it, but it will be there for peace of mind
We live almost exactly halfway along this route, and drive a SR XLT all over, including to Western Maine (Rangeley). You will be fine. It's an awesome road tripping vehicle, you will love it. We put snow tires on ours, and that did seem to decrease range a fair bit, but even then we were...
I love this truck, but the thing I have noticed is the lag in the blinker...if you turn the blinker off manually with the stalk it sometimes keeps blinking or at least making the sound for what feels like 3, 4, 5 seconds. It's very minor, but I can't help noticing it every time
Mine arrived this morning, order #7867. Sometimes an error works in your favor, best wishes to all those who I somehow jumped in line. Never got an email from FedEx or tracking info on the FedEx website, but the Adapter Fairy works in mysterious ways I suppose.
Same. I got the email from Ford on April 5, but the FedEx tracking info is still not populated. Order #7967. I wonder if they postponed my order, apparently shipping orders in the 7000s was a mixup?
I have a friend who is interested in the Lightning as a work truck. But, he runs a small plow on the front of his current truck (Tundra), which attaches to a receiver under the front bumper. The receiver is basically a 2" hitch like on the rear, just mounted to the front. We looked at my XLT...
Just ran into this issue today. I called our local dealer, where I did not buy the truck, for the BCM CSP. They told me they won't work on it since they did not sell it, and they specifically told me they were reducing their EV portfolio and avoiding certification. Fine, I guess, but it seems...
Yeah, the Lightning is an amazing ski vehicle, my family is loving it.
Totally agree about NH being a charge desert. It's got to get better. But, insider tip, our home mountain of Gunstock installed a bank of 10 Level 2 chargers. Show up for the first chair and charge all day, by the time...
The one I got is the lanolin product. NHOU also makes a ceramic product, but I'm not sure about a mineral based oil product. Thanks to your advice, I made sure to ask them to do the insides of the frame rails with the wand extension!
Well, I got the oil undercoat done last night. They used the NHOU lanolin-based product. I'm attaching some pictures below of the finished job. They tagged the spare pretty good, but if I need to use the spare then a little oil is not my main worry anyway. Overall I think it looks good! One...
Well, I finally got Tire Rack to agree that those 17" steelies do not fit. Took escalating twice before someone with sense checked into it. Victory, I guess? They will pay all shipping to have them returned. I have to package them up, so still kind of a pain, but at least they are not trying...
Hi @Discount Tire , be aware that your subsidiary Tire Rack is selling these 17" steel rims discussed in this thread that do not fit the Lightning. And trying to charge customers for returns.
Yup, the caliper was pressed right against the side of the rim.
I'm fighting with Tire Rack on this now. They want me to pay $175 to ship them back, when they sold me the wrong size. I suspect I'll lose, but it's the principle.
I'm just learning about tire sizing. Is it possible to put in...
This is likely too late, but for anyone's future reference these steelies from Tire Rack do NOT fit my 2023 XLR SR, even though their website claimed they did. Interestingly their website no longer lists them. Now comes the battle to convince them that they made a mistake and pay the return...
