Hi all! Just wanted to add to this thread one more time. The other day the truck communications stopped working again (no up/down arrow at the top and no functionality like BlueCruise or truck data in the app). I pulled fuse 37 being an idiot with bad short term memory instead of 32 so had to...
Thanks for posting this thread...I read it day or two after it started and it was front of mind as I had a bit of an issue Sunday with a magic dock Tesla Charger at the new Buckees in Colorado. Would not let go so I used the release, moved to a new stall and then charged.
Plug-n-charge would...
oh I am quite calm. I have just decided that violating terms of service using non-Tesla made adapter is not worth the financial risk if my truck or the station.
I will wait until the UL standards are official and the adapters are officially UL certified when hopefully Tesla will OK their...
Same trucks in a towing test Over the Colorado Rockies (mountains, not the baseball team). A short summary and long story. Pick what you have time for.
I played around a bit today and you are right. All you get is SoC and arrival times. If you use your phone you can see step by step distances, but one should never look at their phone while driving. You also cannot really see/edit the destination list once you start the route. Hoping Apple works...
Thanks. But that thread was a bit messy and talked more about update issues and did does not help everyone just now finally getting 6.2+ get it set up. Hoping more folks see this thread and find fast tips to setup and use this Apple Maps feature.
First, I searched for 5 minutes and could not find a thread on this so thought to start one (apologies if I missed this and this is redundant).
I was perusing Twitter as one does (still can't bring my self to say X) and noted Kyle Connor's post from Out of Spec that he was doing routing in a...
Just wanted to write some love for the forum too!!! I am only 4 months into Lightning ownership (but had a MachE for 2 years so not my first Ford EV rodeo). I appreciate this forum so much (as I did with the MachE).
Symptoms were: The "connected services" would not come up (when you click the...
I am pretty sure Tesla destination chargers only output up to 48amps as I think Tesla's also top out at accepting 48amps, so the destination chargers are built with that in mind (someone will correct me I am sure if I am remembering that wrong). The lighting will only pull what the station can...
Great DYI hack...though no one mentions how hard you have to fight with the spring to get a nickel or two under there from the angle you have to work with. But worth it...thanks for links/discussion on this.
That I never lose the sprint going from two lanes to one off a stop light to some kid in Mommy’s Audi any more Plus the look on their faces.
and the mega power Frunk and the awesome ride comfort and pro power onboard and all the storage
1-5 was nicely answered above.
On 7, I have no issue with charging any phones wirelessly. Lightning works better than other cars I have tried (Acura MDX and MachE). You do have to get the phone centered on the pad (I think that is for any phone with wireless charging, not just Apple).
On 6...
Watch Tom’s video (he is even a fellow NJer). He has a lot of lightning videos on his channel beyond the charger reviews. You will learn a ton about charging from his stuff.
