When you first engage the brake pedal in the Lightning it does not immediately engage the physical brakes, it engages the regenerative braking. So unless you are braking hard/fast, the brake pads are not being utilized to stop the vehicle for most of the slowdown/stop.
You need to use an Electrify America charger. When you get the email receipt, it will contain your remaining balance. It's the only method I've found to check.

And the update interrupted my charging session. Was set to charge to 100% for today's road trip. When I woke up for my morning run, truck was sitting at 74%; should have hit 100% by that time. Thankfully we don't hit the road for a few more hours.
Indeed, pulled into the parking lot for jazz rehearsal and got an update pop-up. Says BC 1.4 will be installed tonight. And just as I'm headed out on a road trip tomorrow.
I've found if you quick-tap the washer button in the tip of the stalk, you can futz it for three wipes without actually causing fluid to engage.
Used to do that on my old F-150, and still do it on my Lightning.
Another recipient of SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 that hasn't had the prerequisite updates to enable WAL. My last update was DDM-25.12.0 on 10 April.
Seems Ford could really stand to learn order and priority of their updates. Anyway, I'll just keep waiting for the surprise notifications about updates. :)
I have RunZero doing passive device discovery/monitoring on my network and it indicates the following:
- TCP/22 appears to be running SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_7.7
- TCP/80 returns 301 Moved Permanently (looks to be running nginix as the server)
- TCP/443 returns 500 Internal Server Error
- RunZero...
But it's not a guarantee. I've driven mine every day since receiving the window update and have not received any indication of the BC 1.4 update rolling in.
I agree, you have to use it to get updates. But driving it, in and of itself, will not trigger the update.
Not sure why your encountering that, I also prefer the "Driver Assistance" view and it is always what my truck starts up and displays.
Do you make use of a personal profile associated with a fob/PaaK?
