That may be true , but in my particular case it's not. The same phone / AA works flawlessly in a 2022 Pacifica. Even wirelessly , imagine that. And it was also confirmed to me by a Ford CS rep that its a known issue on Fords end.
I always get a kick out of the blind loyalty , here. Quite...
Not to be too presumptuous / overbearing , but can I have Android Auto that doesn't continually / randomly disconnect , even when connected w/ USB ? FFS !!
Discounting the 7 serious warranty issues I've had in 19+ months , that in & of itself makes me a " one & done " w/ Ford. How...
The way I read it , it's not a definite yet. It's up to Congress to decide whether to extend it or not , correct ?

IIRC , my mine was set opposite , default was carplay & I had to switch it to Android auto. But my ( severe ) limitation is that as much as I love Tech , I'm pretty much Tech-illiterate. I know there's no way I could even attempt to do what you have to correct yours.
On a related note , I was...
I've been meaning to post the same. I forget the exact message , but it was something along the lines of the Sync system does not support this android device. I will plug carlink back in & get exact message tomorrow.
Oh , and I still don't have wireless Android auto & even connecting w/ USB ...
I was just going to post about coolant level . My heater was blowing cold also , and low coolant level was the cause. So much for pre-delivery inspections , from ford to dealer & dealer to customer.
My personal experience is that charging time & charger performance is tremendously impacted by the heat.
My Ford charger is outside , but constantly shaded & the charging time is tripled in summer , compared to what it is now. In summer it's constantly fluctuating rate of charge & more...
So I purchased a Carlink 3 And have a possible ( ok , more than likely ) dumb question. I also recently subscribed to Ford's wifi , but also noticed that the Carlink has a sim card slot. as of now I have an active sim card in the carlink , but my question is , is it needed , or can I just run...
That's funny I just installed the same item ( YESLAK ) in our Model Y , yesterday. I mostly bought it for being able to open the passenger doors. How Tesla didn't incorporate the ability to unlock from the drivers seat is beyond me. I didn't realize it at time of purchase , and it was...
I actually cancelled the order & will wait for the other adapter to become available.
I actually had to do the opposite when we bought our model Y , bought a Tesla adaptor for a J1772 charger because for some reason our electric company gave $250 credits for purchasing only certain brands...
After placing an order ( of course I wouldn't think to read BEFORE purchasing ) for an adaptor , I read in the question section of the adaptor that it is NOT compatible w/ Superchargers , only home chargers, Is that accurate ? I always charge at home , so I don't even know , do Tesla charging...
I feel so silly now that I never equated the blue lines with % of charge left. I also never noticed the 25% hash marks until everyone pointed them out.....
Thanks for clearing that up , Woo. I noticed the blue " tick lines " , but my eyes were always drawn to the little battery icon & I never made the connection between the lines being the remaining charge, even though its right next to the little battery that always draws my focus. Duh .
Are you talking about tick marks on the left side above the SOC % ? If so , I only see ticks for the regen - braking energy recaptured . all other times , there's nothing. Otoh , it may be somewhere else on screen & I've been oblivious to it the entire time . Tends to be a problem of mine ...
Thanks for the reply, I knd of figured . So in other words , for me anyway , the " user friendliness gap " widens " . It is now a chasm . Or perhaps the Grand Canyon , given my locale. Very disappointing.
Btw , am I understanding you correctly , Ford decides for all their different...
