Yup! I think she is a pinch away from trading in on a tesla, too bad I really do lov the truck more than a tesla car and a cyber truck is just a stupid price in canada and a little too weird for my liking.
Well truck lasted only a few days! Ahhh! Got a wrench today service vehicle soon, but noticed AC not working today. Dealer said the AC will cause wrench due to battery cooling. AC had a 2000 repair 9 months ago when it failed then. Loosing hope this truck will not go down fast.
not sure I understand what this part is, here is from grok
The part NL3Z-18B008-B is the OEM Ford "Control - Front, Center (BEV)" module.

It is specifically for the On Board Scale system (payload/weighing management) on the Ford F-150 Lightning (BEV/Battery Electric Vehicle models)...
Ok so my service advisory got it wrong what was replaced on my truck for anyone else that may experience this was the VDM. The plug corroded resulting in the module failing. I asked if he knew where it was but he did not as I was wondering what allowed this to hapen so soon in life of truck...
I can say we had a brutal winter in Toronto Canada and it snowed 4-5 times a week so there was salt dumped on the roads constantly which will turn to a liquid mixture at the right temps. I have to assume the BMS at 1100 and 950 labour is not that little component off the 12 volt or the service...
Well after many many weeks ( I let truck sit for 3 weeks before towing) Ford finally looked at my truck as it sat there for 2-3 weeks due to another truck all pulled apart in the 1 ev bay they have. So they are claiming it is a harness plug and the BMS corrosion issue and they need to order the...
I looked back there and could not see any obvious place a short could happen, any assistance on where to look specifically would be helpful. There are 3 plugs that really are not near any metal and there seems to be a harness tightly packed and secured in a plastic cover that do run along the...
1 week at dealer not much happened, they said they have 2 others in there with similar issues and so far thrown 2 parts at it costing $3200 canadian and bunch labour and not solved anything on other guys truck. They have a call setup with ford tech people to try and troubleshoot the 3 of them...
you will not see much under there, I was looking under mine on the flatbed and really was not much to see, if you watch Munro tear down a lightning most everything is pretty high on the frame. I was even wondering how you can change any of the components at the back of the truck under the bed...
Well after a month of sitting I put 12 volt back in and truck worked all day, errors started coming back but truck worked odley, after charging at night it errored a 57 percent and once again the truck was as it was the first time and bricked, multiple errors flashing and repeating, could not...
Had same problem and thought a new 12 volt would work to solve but it drained dead over night for some reason, I could not shift either but in the end I may have made a mistake and forgot with the hood open I think you cannot shift.
I finally drove mine after letting it sit for a month...
Well here is my update and it is very bizarre to me!
So after approx 4 weeks truck sitting it was a warm day here and I decided to put the NEW 12 volt back in, ben on a battery maintainer out of the truck all this time.
First I had read about the glove box shorted wires by someone so I popped...
ya I have just removed the 12 volt for the last few weeks until I get it to the dealer, been way to cold to empty the truck. May look behind the glove box just to see what I see
ok I had just pulled the 12 volt out and left the truck for last week or 2 but today I tried again put fully charged 12 volt in and here is my video of what happens, I am touching nothing after start button.
Frunk was open, door was open
