I found a couple of possible replacement plug & cables at Digikey.com which list Phoenix Contact EVSE products. The stock number is 277-1101121-ND which appears to be a direct replacement lists at $1030.01 Each.
If you are not going to use the FCSP with HIS, there is an AC 80 Amp only cable...
I have an EE question on the Generac panel. Does the transfer contactor do a make before break switch on the neutral conductors? If so, that might explain Pro Power on Board tripping on ground fault when the source is switched via the solenoid on the contactor vs. manual operation of the...
I am 28 months into the OEM low voltage battery and have had several battery tests reports recently indicate weak-recharge. What is Fords standard for test results which would call for a warranty replacement of the LV battery?
I'll add that when I have checked the charging current it has been...
As an RF (radio Frequency) Systems guy, when I hear of a location specific fault, I tend to suspect an interference problem. Maybe a FOB battery aging?? Airport or broadcast transmitter nearby?
Steve
Fuel consumption and availability is a consideration when selecting a backup power source. Most homes only use a few kilowatts of power on average. If you size the generator for EV charging or AC/heat pump operation, you will be paying a lot more per hour for backup power. Of course, an...
I had a failure with Lane Centering not working on a trip. It started working again after I removed a very small bug splat from the front windshield directly in front of forward camera.
I hope you are as lucky.
Steve
It may help recovering the master door pin if you put the fobs in the backup holder with the buttons on the fob facing toward the rear of the truck.
I had a lot of trouble adding a third fob to my Lighting until I added that step to the procedure.
Please let us know if that additional step...
Your transfer switch does not switch the neutral conductor between generator and utility power, so the other options for using the Lightning Pro Power are in order.
Using a neutral switching transfer switch may require other changes to your home electrical panel/s. An electrician can advise...
Do the folks who are experiencing this inconvenience with lane keeping being enable have driver settings associated with their key fob? And if they do and are still having the problem, has anyone tried to delete and edit those settings?
I checked my '23 Lariat and still have the setting to...
The early post suggests that the transfer switch contactor solenoid coil is drawing current from the PPOB line to ground when the transfer to the truck is initiated on the Generac panel. This immediately trips the PPOB ground fault protection.
I would look for a wiring problem such as a...
This problem with the '24 PPOB sure is a product design miss from Ford. I suspect the system engineers were trying to reduce parasitic battery drain with the six-minute time out, but did not understand how portable power systems are used by many people.
During the six hour no load test I ran...
I think there is something else going on with these reports of PPOB randomly shuting off. As a test I have been running ProPower with no load for about four hours today. My truck is a '23 Lariat with a June 2023 build date. The shut off PPOB option is set for 30-mile range left on the truck...
On Tuesday I noticed the white station reset light on my FCSP. This morning, I checked the software on the EVSE. The software version was still 2.112.125:3.15:3.15:3.15 as noted on 3/17/25, but the firmware version was now 5.0.25.

I had ongoing WIFI connectivity issues with my FCSP until I installed a WIFI bridge to my garage from our home network. Shortly afterward, there were two instances where I found the white "Station Reset" display active. I then confirmed the Charge Station software had been updated from the...
@Hammick from the picture of your ATS, it appears that it also switches the neutral conductor. If that is the case, the need becomes shutting off the EVSE without the inconvenience of unplugging the Lightning. You would not want to be charging the truck from its own battery.
The picture also...
Got it. The grounds are still connected between the EVSE and earth ground through the sub panel.
Does your ATS have auxiliary contacts which close when PPOB is the selected? If so, the ATS could control a contactor to cut off power to the truck charger when the Lightning is the power source...
There is a ground connection on the charging cable, so the truck is grounded when connected for charging. Is it practical to move the feed to the charger upstream from the utility disconnect?
Steve
I posted the drawing in post #101 to show the shock hazard should the neutral connection become disconnected (failed) from an ungrounded power source.
The attached photo shows an L14-30 plug which went open due to rough handling. Although this failure was on a line connection, the open circuit...
Attached is a photo of the top of a fob with the key removed. If you zoom the image out the part number and the FCC ID number are readable.
On one of my fobs the some of the numbers were obscured. I hope you do not have the same problem.
